    Anatta or no eternal immortal independent inner self, anicca or impermanence, samutpada or samudaya meaning conditional collective arising are main principles of Buddhism. If there is no eternal immortal independent inner self and if everything is impermanent, supreme power is irrelevant and is reduced to one of the many myriad cause and conditions that gives rise to life and the universe. Law of impermanence, cause, conditions, effect, natural pleasure of meditation, growth, maturity, detachment, 4 truths, 5 percepts, 8 rules of conduct amazing truths of Buddhism. No need for belief in the idea of supreme power next life or final judgement in order to live a meaningfully fulfilled life.

      Nope, you are confusing buddhism with your own western materialist metaphysics, here you are taking the creed of a tradition that comes from a completely different language system and translating it directly to your own intuited understanding of what you think the world is, which is more likely than not a flux of inert matter (or if your a little more clued, quantum foam). Your repackaging of a tradition you doubtlessly were not raised in to fit your western world view is a form of 'protestantisation' known as buddhist modernism, in the pali cannon the Buddha stressed time and time again that he was not an annihilationist (nothing after death) and that truly great effort was urgently needed to be made in order to 'escape' from what is essentially a universe described as a boundless psycho-physical flux of mentation that has itself in a perpetual feedback loop of out of control reactive thoughts, urges and emotions, of which it clings to for dear life, perpetually manifesting in different mindstreams, you are one of these mindstreams. Rebirth is the process of evolution and world building as we know it from the first person, the mindstream will not stop remanifesting a series of sensations in accordance with it's reaction to those sensations, these sensations essentially wind themselves up in the storehouse consciousness and release themselves once the current series of sensations has run it's course, to us this appears as though actual individual beings are going through a cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, in set locations in time and space, though in reality this is more like a karmic current in a bottomless karmic ocean, an endless web of aggravated and disturbed dreams, to 'wake up' (and that is the goal here) you have to devote immense time into undoing the multi layered underlying tendencies of manifesting and reacting, this can take a long time (several lifetimes even) until you have essentially stilled a self strumming guitar string, or pacified a whirlpool until the lake is clear, however way you put it, then, and only then, there is bliss of pure mind, which is completely beyond conceptual thought because conceptual thought can only infer other concepts, and so any statement on this matter is empty of any actual nature pertaining to such a state, and all forms of duality (elements, thoughts, objects, senses) are, even as the interwoven fabricated arising formations, empty both as the compounded forms and the compounding feature itself as it by it's very composite nature isn't actually a thing or things, the misconstrued 'process ontology' that people think might be meant by Buddhism is itself a pointer, and any belief in a process reality is itself also compounded/fabricated/conceptualised and so has no self, is not permanent and does not pertain to anything outside of aggravated thought processes, you only know nirvana when your there (hence nirvana isn't seen by buddhists as 'god' because the unspeakable is unspeakable).

      @@johncasarino5627 I understand buddhism from sutta pitaka, vinaya pitaka and my own experience as a meditator. Even sutta pitaka and vinaya pitaka are not 100% reliable because they were composed by disciples of buddha. Literature produced by 4th and later buddhist councils in form of mahayana buddhism are unreliable because of infiltration of vedic ideas in buddhism. When I look at core ideas proposed by buddha for example anatta or anatma which means no inner self, I can confidently say buddha did not teach eternal immortal inner self. Neuroscientists also cannot account for soul independent of processes of life. Buddha was not nihilist because he also proposed law of karma. We continue in the effect of our karma and not as independent soul. Hence buddha emphasize on ethical life. Since there is no inner self or eternal soul, supreme power or god is irrelevant. Buddha actually made fun of Brahma according to sutta pitaka. Buddhists believe that mind continues after death of body but my understanding is that just like body mind will also disintegrate and disperse leaving no residue. Nirvana is not privilege of few seekers but fate of all life forms because nothing continues after death and disintegration of our constituent cause and conditions i.e. body, mind and processes of life, I can say for sure that buddha did not acknowledge eternal immortal inner self independent of cause and conditions. Buddha spoke about end of suffering and effluents in order to discover buddha nature and pleasure of meditation while being alive and not as next life promise. Buddha was not a believer, he was a knower.

    안녕하세요. 공부하다 어디 물어볼데가 없어 질문 올립니다. 나는 무엇인가? 오직모를뿐. 참선의 방법은 받아들여서 간간히 노력중인데.. 이 모를뿐, 모르는 마음을 일상에서 오는 잡념에도 적용시켜도 되는지 궁금합니다. 예를 들어, 화가 치밀어 오를때도 화를 내려놓기 위해 모른다는 생각을 일으켜도 되는지.. 불안한 감정이 올라왔을때도 모를뿐 해도 되는지.. 아니면 모를뿐은 들고있는 화두에만 적용해야 하는지..? 궁금합니다.

    • @musangsa9132
      @musangsa9132 2 месяца назад

      당연히 일상에서 어떤 상황에서든 '모를 뿐'을 적용하면 됩니다. 모를뿐은 생각 이전의 자리를 가리킵니다. 모든 상대적인 생각이 떨어져 나간 절대적인 자리입니다. 그것이 본래 우리의 실체이고 본성입니다. 그 자리가 탄탄하면 화가 치미는 상황이든, 불안한 감정이 들든, 어떤 감정과 조건과 상황이 와도 흔들리지 않게 됩니다. 모든걸 있는 그대로 인지해서 지혜롭게 대처할 수 있습니다. 문제는 화가 치밀 때, 또는 불안한 감정이 파도처럼 엄습할 때, 모를뿐인 마음 자리로 '탁!' 하고 돌아갈 수 있는 힘이 있느냐 하는 것이죠. 좌선이나 절, 염불 등 형식을 갖춰 실참 수행하는 이유가 바로 그런 마음의 힘을 기르기 위한 훈련이라고 보시면 됩니다. 사실, 일상에서 그러한 모를뿐의 자리가 더 필요하므로 좌선 중 만이 아니라 일상에서 그러한 적용을 하시려고 노력하는 것 역시 매우 중요한 수행입니다. 일상에서 모를뿐인 마음을 유지한다는 것은 순간순간 무엇인가를 할 때 '그저 할 뿐'의 마음입니다. 상황과 하나 되는 것입니다. 도움 되시기를 바랍니다.

    • @나비-m7s
      @나비-m7s 2 месяца назад

      "모를 뿐"이라는 것은 생각(분별식)이 멈춘 상태를 가리킵니다. 예를 들어 설거지를 할 때는 오직 설거지를 하지, 딴 생각을 하지 않는 것을 말합니다('왜 나만 설거지를 해야 하지?' 등등). 화가 치밀어 오를 때는 에너지가 머리 위로 올라간 상태이기 때문에, 억지로 화를 내려 놓으려고 해도 화가 내려가지 않습니다. 이럴 때는 호흡을 길게 하면서 호흡에 집중하거나, 또는 염불이나 108배를 함으로써 머리 위로 올라간 에너지(기)를 단전으로 내리는 게 필요합니다.

      저 역시 한 달 동안 화가 안 내려서 고생했던 적이 있습니다. 그러다가 '혹시 상대방의 불쾌한 언행이 나를 보고 한 게 아니라, 내가 제3자로서 들었다면...?' 하는 생각이 언뜻 들더군요. 그랬더니 이렇게 오랫동안 화가 나지 않고, '저 사람 왜 저러지..?' 했을 것 같더군요. 그래서야 나의 불쾌감, 화의 밑바닥엔 아상이 자리잡고 있구나 하는 깨달음이 들더군요. 비로소 머리가 좀 가벼워졌어요. 하지만 그 뒤에도 문득 문득 불쾌감이 찾아 들었어요...하지만 훨씬 빈도는 잦아들었어요. 하루빨리 프라즈나님의 경험이 깨달음의 계기가 되기를 바랍니다. 🙏
