I actually just picked up 26 bags of potting mix for $1 a bag on clearance at a local walmart then went to the next walmart and got pro mix potting mix for $8 a bag. I stocked up to fill up greenstalks and other planters.

Aren't wasps beneficial to gardeners because they kill plant eating insects? I don't like having them around, but I try not to kill them if I don't have to. Does burning the old nest kill the wasp larvae? When you mentioned acting like a natural bug repellant, was that because of the palm leaf or the wasp nest? The old wasp nests around here would definitely freeze. I just wonder if the wasps reuse them the next year? I like ash and its benefits for pest control and soil. Our soil around here is pretty alkaline and I use it sparingly. Good video, and thanks for the tips!
@trouthawk you are correct wasps are very beneficial in keeping down the amount of plant eating bugs in your garden. If you are allergic to them, I can truly understand why you would not want them around you. Burning the nest would definitely kill the larvae but the ones I burnt were old and empty. I can’t say with certainty whether or not they return to the old nests or they just build a new one elsewhere. Thank you for watching and engaging! Stay tuned!
Love it, great job bro!!
