The New York Tibetan Service Center (NYTSC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an officially recognized community center with the mission to preserve and promote Tibetan and Himalayan culture, as well as provide services necessary for the successful transition of Tibetan and Himalayan immigrants to life in New York City. It is dedicated to the social and economic mobility and academic success of New York City immigrants originating primarily from Tibetan/Himalayan communities - many of whom are refugees and/or members of marginalized and disadvantaged communities. The organization offers education, and empowerment activities that respect cultures and promote integration.་The center is non-sectarian and apolitical, and in so being strives to meet a wide range of needs for the entire diversity of the Tibetan and Himalayan communities. for further info: *www.nytsc.org*
