Hello! This particular pattern calls for both size needles. It is possible, but this pattern does not include modifications for that. The purpose for smaller needles for the brim is to make the brim denser than the body. If you prefer to use just one size needles, here are my suggestions: - If using US 13, knit the body looser than the brim. - If using US 15, knit the brim tighter than the body.
