Thanks for the comment!! These settings are Neutral bots, so the bots are no attacking after player leaves. So you have to use their remaining positions to your advantage. Big stacks or capitals become pseudo-blizzards so sometimes is better to just let them be and focus on your human opponents instead. I did take the cap in Vienna because it was better and more open than my original. I had to get more board for the extra troops, since I was between my remaining opponents, they could gang on me. The extra troops serve as intimidation and as material for punishment if one of them decide to hit me. Remember that I could still lose had the remaining players team on me (which was the correct choice).

Also, I'm be uploading a few games were I got 2nd, because the end games were great and there is a lot to learn from them. I just happened to lose.

It's a thing. Many people just straight up quit in the 1st round. But there were too many on this game.

It was a mix of overconfidence and cockyness. I wasn't expecting such a bad Blitz roll and after that, I struggled to completely remove red. If I had a betterBlitz, I would have been able to dominateearlier, faster.

This one, about 45 mins. It was relatively short.

Olive was the 1st one I saw doing this. For me, it mitigates the randomness of the bot if they attack before you notice. And it changes the dynamics, as now you have pseudo-blizzards.

It just gives a fighting chance to everyone, in case someone bots out and you happen to be next to them. I can play with active bots, I just came to enjoy the neutral bots more.

@@HarlowRisk Fair enough. I tend to like the intricacies of dealing with using the bot in the endgame to get an advantage over my opponents, so that’s where I’m at with it. It gives a few more tools and tactics to be able to outplay/outlast the last guy sticking around. Only time I really see it as a detriment is when you have a pack of em bot out in the early game, and one guy has a snowball and you’re getting nothing because of the bots. Not a typical outcome though.

@geode_V both have their nuances. I just prefer to focus on the remaining players after someone someone bots out. With neutral bots, it sucks when someone just leaves a big stack (like blue did in the Smacky-Smacky vid). White had to each that hit in that game.
