This Is The Last Time I'll Ever Race Here
Today we're "pre-riding" for the final Mid-Atlantic Super Series enduro at Glen Park in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Notice I didn't say "Last race of the season." Due to some unfortunate circumstances, this will, in all likelihood, be the last time Glen Park ever hosts an enduro race. It might be the last MASS enduro ever.
This is my best guess (based on previous years) as to what the race stages will be for this incredibly fun race.

I really enjoy racing and riding here, but it for sure is difficult to pre-ride without being taped. Last time I raced Glen I pre-rode the Sunday before and hit intermeshing parts that weren't part of the stages. Just lots of potential intersections.

Black Bear at Kingdom Trails - much more of a climb to get to it but much longer descent ;)
We’ve ridden Blackbear! It’s really good, but the climb sucks and it’s so heavily trafficked that I had trouble getting a full uninterrupted run in. This time in VT we only had our e-bikes with, so Kingdom was out. I really enjoyed the flow of Cady Hill though, even if it is a shorter run!

That's why I make them! Not all of us can preride it so a video is the next best thing. You can search my channel to see how other trails you've ridden look on gopro too to try and guage the features, it's actually surprisingly effective!

Absolutely ripping. Glad you had a great time at MCPB.
First off excellent riding. You carry so much speed! I have a Megatower that originally had a Fox 36 and the flex was noticeable to me especially at rocky steep spots. I don't even weigh that much so it's rare for me to feel that kind of stuff. The Fox 38 is on a whole differen't level of stiff IMO.
Yeah I'm definitely considering going to back to a ZEB, I loved it on my Meta.
Haven’t been there in about 20 years. Looks nice. Powerhouse of a little place. Whatever happened to Plattekill? That was the real deal in early DH , late 90s big bike tech riding.
I've never been to Plattekill, I'm not exactly from the area.
@@AustinSheidy the original king of north east 99-2000 early DH technical riding. Really small one lift mountain at the time. The owner let locals cut whatever trails they wanted while the big corporate mountains were concerned about other factors and late to the game on the rise of the gravity element of MTB. Legend place for destroying equipment, brutal trails and loose shale rock on trails.

@@AustinSheidy I have no idea that’s why I was asking if it’s still around. I don’t gravity ride anymore and my saddle time is not what it used to be. I’m wanting to step it up a bit and have been watching videos. I hear nothing about it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the mountain shut down completely considering the size and ski industry issues in the north east

1 too 2 clicks lsc really helps with the jump trails fix that low feeling I went threw same thing with my lyrik 170mm went to zeb 180mm so epic fix what ur feeling faster u go better it feels
Nice riding, The Creek is the real deal, I stopped riding my trail bike at bike parks cuz it was getting trashed and got a DH bike. Now I can ride for a few weeks with a clean and chain oil, I find the wheels need to be trued ever month too but that if I’m riding several times a week. Heading east will be hitting all the parks on the East coast but The Creek is a must.
Creek is cool but there are others!! Check out Snowshoe, Bryce, Blue mountain, Killington, thunder, highland depending on where you're at.
Nice! A handful of my local friends I ride with were just up there. That trail they just used for the race course looks really fun, and long!
Goat Skull is sick! I wish I would've had time to hit it a few times.
Killington is my favorite bike park by far. The only park that is consistent with above average conditions and the variety is pretty unmatched.
My only complaint was that they were rebuilding the biggest jump line right in the middle of the season!

not sure where else you ride but the maintenance at Killington is sub par for the flow trails. Last year was a joke and this year Blue Magic and Jump Start are a rock garden in mid August. Black Magic only in better shape since it opened so late
