I can’t help but feel sorry for Megamind in this scene, after his secret behind him being revealed to be a villain is revealed to Roxanne, he feels remorseful for his actions and tries to apologize to Roxanne for them and discuss the reason behind his villainy but Roxanne too angry at Megamind for everything he did in the past as a villain dumps him anyway, leaving Megamind with nothing, he now lost Minion and Roxanne and has nothing else left to do but continue being a villain feuding with Titan just as he did with Metro Man, unaware that Titan choose to become a villain after being dumped by Roxanne too, but things will get better between Megamind and Roxanne and Minion after he quits being a villain and becomes a hero.

1:13 to 1:17 I really felt bad for Hal because in the whole movie, he just wanted to be with Roxanne. That’s it. But Roxanne ended up with Megamind. Even when he became the superhero, he still didn’t get the girl. And because he didn’t get the girl and the superhero stuff was work to him. He ended up bad. Pour Hal. #PreyForHal

I think both their hearts were broken at that moment, when Megamind and Roxanne kissed, but think about the logic of this. This is like if an ordinary woman kissed an ordinary man, only to discover that that man is actually Satan. If I were Roxanne, not only would my heart be broken, I would be intensely horrified, because I thought he was truly THAT kind of Evil. Although this movie was meant for children, if it were hypothetically Rated R instead, the emotions expressed here would be rather tremendous. Do you know what I mean?

Oh, come on. True, he killed Metro Man, but he clearly paid attention to her, and that particular scheme obviously wouldn't get him anything if he didn't love her. Do you truly believe that watch would have been kept in bed? There was just no way he could have taken advantage of her like that, even if he did have an evil reason to, which he did not. Besides, if rape was his goal, then he would have just kidnapped her, same as always. Having said that, it's only fair she reacted the way she did. Manipulating and lying has never helped to get the girl.

Am I the only one who felt sorry for Hal (Tighten) in this scene when he looks at Roxanne and Megamind (disguised) looking really hurt? I felt bad for Megamind too don't get me wrong, but seeing Hal's sad face kind of reminds you when someone rejects you romantically and you see this person with someone else.
