Future truck plans and sprinkler repair
Просмотров 1133 года назад
Just discussing future truck plans and washing the engine bay on my truck.
3 years later how is it holding up? Looking to get either this or the gas assisted Sam’s club grill
@adam22908 it's been great no complaints..just make sure you get a cover for it to keep it out the weather...and I always clean it before and after use with a half of onion! Do that when the charcoals is hot
Great video! Great tires! Very cool supporting small business and the little brother is learning
About how many miles are these good for
I'm at about 20k miles now and the still meaty...but I don't drive my diesel much..just on the weekends
@@bigcountryreviews6551have you had any problems with them?
@christopherocampo989 naw bruh none at all!!!! These are thee best and most quietest mud tires I ever had and definitely will be buying more! I'll prob get 40s next 15.50s
I’ll be doing this Monday. Glad I went with rainbird
Did your grill come with a cover ? My neighbor bought one of these grills and i came with a cover.
Where do I get it.

I'm an old guy, new to sprinkler systems, so I appreciate your videos. Thanks for posting. God bless. 🙂
Thanks for the review. This has been very helpful. Going to Sam’s Club now.
How many miles you think they’re good for?
I’m interest in getting one. How is it holding after 2 years?
Yea I was hesitant seeing the price of it. Bought some, and wow. It literally dissolves the grime and dirt instantly. As soon as it's sprayed on, the dirt and grime almost melts off lol. And it keeps the paint in pristine condition too. Very very good cleaner.
Are you sure that this is 30,000 sq. feet?
that’s crazy Karen I just subscribed to your channel Ms Joy your new subscriber ❤❤❤❤❤
Do you rub? I’m putting the same setup on my 6.0 that looks just like yours. I’m trying to figure out if I should order spacers.
Naw they only rub at full lock turn and that's only when I'm trying to squeeze in a parking spot lol
@@bigcountryreviews6551 Do you have an instagram where you could send some better pictures? I’m very interested in what it looks like but there wasn’t much footage of the truck afterwards!
@@jackwilliams1493 @thedieselsnowflake
Any chance u know of where to get replacement grills? Or the size? Haven’t had the time to measure mine
You forgot the jalapeño poppers 😋👍
Great video, I think I’m gonna pick up some 35/12.5/20s, you should do a new review on how many miles you have on the tires, just a thought.
Yeah bruh you right I just be slacking honestly 🤦 😪
@@bigcountryreviews6551 yeah, I hear ya, life gets busy
@@jaybman2700 you speaking nothing but facts bro 💯
How they holding up?
They holding up great bro! Highly recommend
@@bigcountryreviews6551 sounds good man. Have some coming already actually for my 4runner.
@@dustinsalisbury4383 they ride like butter and are super quiet bro your gonna love them
I’m trying to think how much should I charge to install this rain bird btw you got an extra hose ? For longer range correct ?
Great vid just purchased 35x12.5r18 for my f150 I have a 6 inch lift so I can’t wait to see them on my truck.
I'd love to order this...can you let me know what it is called !?
Love tbe video where to get the seeds
I have that same grill....im trying to find the tray that slides out of the side...mine has burned through...
After 2 years since this video, have you had issues with your rainbird system? Freezes? Burst lines? Etc...
GOOD
Thanks. I started mine yesterday. All I needed to see was the trench digging.
I just seen green olives stuffed with blue cheese the other day. Fuggin $10 a jar but I'm kinda curious. Think I'm going to try the ranch pickles though, sounds delish
The container with the timers in it is pretty cool. Have you seen the 4 zone one they have?
Yeah I have im thinking about changing it 🤔
hard work dude! great job!
I don’t think you need it to be shorter; as you mentioned, it gets hot. It looks like you need to pull your upper ear up and back so you have a clear/straight view and that’s when it being longer is beneficial.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love finding greedy snacks😍😂😂😂
Me too
Informative video sir! Thank you
Your ear need clearing out. It appears there wax fully blocking it.
Good times!!
It was a good day!
I highly recommend you put an Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker (AVB) on the outlet side of that timer. It'll protect your water supply from getting contaminated.
Where did you get the letters?
I got them from AC Moore and Walmart
You did a good job. That was in depth enough for me! I'm trying to get all my fruit trees on a sprinkler and drip system (for the ones in pots) and I had no idea I could just use a t connector and my normal tubing to do this. Thank you!
You are very welcome!
Wow nice job man 👏 Did you cover the seed with anything after laying it down? Or just broadcasted on top of soil and watered in? In the middle of a total renovation on my lawn so wondering 🤔
I didn't cover it with anything besides water lol. But you can use peat moss thou, I didn't because my yard is to big to cover with peat moss and it would of been too expensive
@@bigcountryreviews6551 Yeah I got you, thanks for the reply! I am going to aerate the heck out of the bare dirt to loosen everything up, seed, then use a pull behind lawn roller to hopefully press in a bit of the seed to get some better contact. By the looks of your that may not even be needed.
@@briankennedy5403 yeah rolling it in is a good idea too and also I seeded heavy as well I did 10lbs per 1000
@@bigcountryreviews6551 planning to do 10lbs per 1000 also. Good deal, ready for GREEN instead of brown lol
@@briankennedy5403 same here bro army worms and crab grass got my yard smh
Dude, you slayed that sign!! What a cool idea with the hardware. Think I spied a BBQ in the background, hope to see some action coming from that, too :)
Thank you! And I might do some grilling videos! I never thought about it thanks!!
Mine, on its 4th year, has become a nightmare of heads not popping up, and I've been doing everything I can to fix it, to no avail for the last month or more. I think I got what I paid for, a Barbie Suzie Homemaker system possibly made by Mattel. I've tried more things to fix it than I have time to list them all.
Are you on well or town water?
@@AD-vf3ek City water 75lbs 6GPM flow - it will NOT support 6 heads, but it will do 3 at a time, so skip the T and run 2 lines - it only took me about 15-20 phone calls, 20-30 parts switches and the whole damn summer to discover that - it's false advertising. IF they gave you a 2 zone timer and told you to run 2 lines it would be ok, but even the support people won't admit that.
Here's what I took the time to write on Amazon: It would take me an hour to document all my struggles with this - Loved it first summer - honeymoon era. Trencher took a day to put in. Layed out with a T and 3 on each side. Water pressure in 75 with 6GPM. 2nd summer sorta ok, still happy to have in ground. Last summer, had to pull up head after head to get them to go. This summer, it just ain't working. No there is no leak. Have changed every head, found Orbit's work better and I believe more durable. I changed - all heads multiple times, new timer, TWO new FCKIT's (great name for their Faucet Connection, should be the name of the whole kit)), in and out and in with pressure reducerS (plural), hook hose directly to it bypassing timer., dug 2 2' holes in my lawn, replace end drain. Finally got out the sprinklers mid August and got my lawn green again. Yeah it was green around the heads where the water gurgled. I've bought (and returned) heads, including non rotators, at least a dozen of them. Where do I count the ways? THIS SYSTEM WILL *NOT* SUPPORT 6 HEADS!!! I was ready to buy an Orbit kit and start over, and destroy my lawn - again. But even if I did - I would NOT try to run more than 4 heads. To try to conclude, I finally stated digging, and found the T - (just about a 12" X 4' hole) and split them and extended them. Now separate lines with THREE heads pop fine. My yard is only ~60' X 20'. I will get an Orbit Dual Zone timer like I have in my front yard, and run them at different times. And tonight is is going to rain now that I FINALLY figured it out,,, wonderful. Happy summer and nice having a desert with 6 lush green spots about 2' in diameter. "Customer service" is appalling, all those things I tried, except using Orbit heads, were at their direction - but they NEVER admitted it wouldn't run 6 heads, even today for my at least 10th-12th phone call to them. I *think* it MAY run 4, but if you believe their advertising and put in 6 (3X3 on a T), prepare for the honeymoon to be over not that far down the road. You should see the parts laid out on my patio, but why bother? Suffice it to say I have at least $150 in Home Depot returns to do. This is deceptive advertising, and all the great reviews you read MUST be in the Honeymoon phase. I could type for another hour, but why bother. Rainbird owes me. I gotta get back out there and fill in the holes before it rains, but I'm scared to re-bury it for fear something else will happen. They need to re-name the kit with their Faucet Kit code.
@@bloomz1 this sounds like a nightmare. I just ordered the orbit blu lock “2 zone” and bout a separate 4 zone wifi timer. I plan to run four different zones with 3 heads each line. I only have about 52psi and they say with 35 minimum I should be good. My only thing is I have to run a 5/8 hose to connect these to my faucet because the facet on my house is pretty far away and I would need to run extra tubing to ready then when I already have 5/8 hoses from my ghetto above ground sprinklers I have now. I hope this will work. Or do you think I should just buy extra tubing and run them to my faucet if about 75 ~100’feet??
@@tite732 I wish I could answer that, maybe you'll have better luck with orbit than I did with Rainbird. My system finally works fine with a 2 zone timer and 3 heads - but I'll again say, don't trust the manufacturer, at least I KNOW for Rainbird - they don't give enough of a shit to do anything BUT run less (they claimed it could handle 6) than they recommend. Good luck with it
Looks good man do you have any rubbing with just a leveling kit?? I'm running 35s right now on an 06 w 2.5" leveling and want to go to 37 but debating if I want to go 37s with this or a 4.5" lift
Thanks bruh and Naw man it only rubs on the radius arms at a full lock turn..but other than that no rubbing at all...I only have a 2.5 inch leveling kit and running 37-13.50r20s
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations
Thanks bro
How would this compare to a Weber kettle?
Awsome man. Hard work pays off. On the systems used. How is the orbit compared to the rainbird. I’m debating which to buy
Depends what kind of timer...the rainbird regular hose timers are nice and you can set mon-fri and water 2 times a day...the orbit basic hose timer is ehhhh okay 🤷🏾♂️...but the orbit wifi hose timer is amazing 👏🏾.!! Check out my review video on it!
I like the WiFi ability. So cool. How about the sprinklers? Are they the same as far as throw
@@benavena727 yeah pretty much the same with throw..depending on your water pressure and gpm on your house..but the rain bird sprinklers are to me are better quality than orbit..you can especially tell with the weight difference of both
Do you get good head to head coverage or just some overlap
@@benavena727 great coverage and I got all my zones set to overlap a little
ruclips.net/video/HEgyyMqn4Jc/видео.html
did you have any bermuda come back? How many roundup apps did you do to kill it? ?
Nope not at all
2 rounds then I took a sod cutter and took it all up...if you look at my other videos you can see the whole process
What is your water pressure and flow rate and gal per min?
Psi100 gpm 3-5gpm I can not rememberits been so long lol
