Ray surprised himself 😂, the way he was on top of the door like, oh shit, I REALLY broke it😂
Correction, 106 mph.
Anyone here in 2024
This is edited like TikTok...
A Dog🦾
He threw 104.7mph last night . This video is 12 years old. Sheeeeesh
I came to say this hehehe. Chapman is a beast!
Unfair comparing a middele aged man to a young dude
Sid threw 600+
imagine if this dude punched you
basketball player: "I'm going to play as low as possible and make sure I hit the ball as many times as possible." drummer: "I'm going to play a mid solo that stops my right hand constantly to hit cymbals, and isn't close to the fastest way to play drums." Holy shit the basketball player won! Anyway, here's Tom Grosset clearing 20 hits per second, and there a several others that were closing in on him at the time. And if you google just his name, it'll take a while to find him. ruclips.net/video/Q9FrW-Wr-ds/видео.html
Man, 1500 is nothing compared to what pitchers are tossing today
There are so many other pitchers throwing over 100 mph now, his pitches aren’t even that fast compared to the rest of the league anymore.
He still throws heat at his age.
Just threw 105.1 mph lol, respect the Cuban missile
This video is 11 yrs old. My gosh, I didn't even realize Chapman played then. Time flies chaps, savor it.
does he have an offspeed pitch like a changeup? cuz if he had that he wil be the nastiest pitcher out there
He used to be but not anymore. He has sinker and Slider that's his only off speed his main weapon is just fastball
imagine dis guy throwing a rock at u. 🤕
8.5 foot release. Rubber is 60.5 feet from Home Plate. 105 MPH equals 220 Feet per second. 60.5-8.5=52 Ft. 52÷220=0.2363 Sec. From release, to the BACK POINT of home plate... That's insane to even imagine having to hit!!!
He is genetically gifted, if not, everyone would attempt to duplicate his biomechanics and being throwing with similar velocity. Stride length, while it can be increased, will affect other aspects of the delivery, so mess with one thing and others can be impacted, some adversely. Arm speed is largely a genetic gift, as is stride and lower extremity swing speed for a runner. Chapman is a very muscular man, while Randy Johnson was a pure Ectomorph.
Even Hicks is throwing 105 with a smaller body 😁 And also what the heck is with Duran's splitter. It can reach 100mph.
Thst man is actually throwing at 107-108mph
105.7 is chapmans fastest. Not even close to 106mph
@@PHIL253 he already threw a 106mph fastball and the gun is only capturing 105-106 but in reality is about 106.5
A lot of India Cricket fans saying hitting baseball is very easy
Nah I’m weak
Because cricket players use bat very wide unlike baseball bat is only round
imagine this guy decides to throw 40 mph eephus 😂😂😂
Batter froze 😂
The cheating Houston Astros can hit any missile Chapman throws 😂
His mind hasn't been right since that 99mph ball cracked his skull. He no longer has ability to curve strange behavior.
Nolan Ryan threw the fastest pitch ever.
It was not confirmed so currently chapman holds the fastest
Thats a two seamer’s spin…
Knowing what we know now with spin rates and tilt, this video was completely wrong with a lot of stuff lol
Pitchers in boxing tend to have knockout power
His basically the perfect throwing specimen. His technique is flawless
if he is then why is he struggling big time
@@cro4194 because he throws hard, not necessarily good. He is struggling probably because he lacks location on his fastball, gets gassed quickly and his only other great pitch is his slider. That does not mean that he isn't the hardest thrower to have ever walked the earth
@@cro4194 to be able throw that hard your gonna struggle with ball placement and he gets gassed quickly considering how hard he throws
The greatest video
Looking back 4 years later after seeing this video, I understand it so so much better, amazing vid
This guy-So it’s virtually impossible to hit Chapman. Altuve-hold My tequila
Better physical stats than Gianis... Talking about skill.
Who is here from 2021
luke litle throws 105 mph bullpen ruclips.net/video/CctT368WNIc/видео.html
Simple, just always swing on him
I was able too throw 103mph until my alarm clock woke me up
“and now, for the Detroit Dodgeballers, attacker Aroldis Chapman!”
Chapman is amazing but Randy Johnson and Nolan Ryan are legendary!
No, Nolan Ryan threw 108 MPH once.
It was assumed that at first, but upon closer observation, ended up being 104.
For a batter to just make contact with 3/100th of a second decision time would be nearly as impressive as the 105 mph pitch coming towards him.
I don't even like baseball. Dude is a certified beast though.
So does he beat his wife because he throws 100+ or does he throw 100+ because he beats his wife?
Wonder how fast he can throw a tennis ball At least 115
I played into high school you cannot throw a tennis ball as hard as baseball not enough weight
He trains by beating his wife
Nah, sid finch was better
If he was pitching at the Astro's ballpark, no need to bang the garbage can, everybody knows what's coming.
I can do that
Nobody talks about the catcher I know I can’t catch that even when I’m a adult
If he was a catcher he would pick of the runner in point two seconds
This was super interesting.
