I sufffer from intense arthritic pain and opioids have given me y life back and enable me to be productive. If one takes a fixed reg dose every day then tolerance happens quickly. I take mine based on expected activity level each day. This type of information you are giving here makes maintaining a level of. Comfort very difficult when interacting with doctors. Especially when you encourage your listeners to tell your patients that “learning to live with your pain will give you a much better quality life”. This clearly comes from a women who isn’t experiencing consistent chronic pain. Though I will except that this webinars focus is peri surgical. Many things said here also address chronic persistent pain and doctors are listening. I have heard things said here parroted back to me. Including “we have found that opioids do not help that much with chronic pain”. One can appreciate what you are trying to accomplish and avoid. But does it have to be at the expense of us who use our medications responsibly I personally find great relief and comfort from opioids. Long term use is possible if done correctly and responsibly.

Interesting video, I had open AAA surgery 2 months ago, I had an Ileus which lasted 2 weeks, it was aweful. I'm home now but still have a distended belly and trouble with BM.
