Welcome: you have reached "FootCraft Music and Dance"!
On this Channel you can experience the continuing voyages of a mediocre musician and folk dance composer and occasional caller through their audio and visual recording journey. The videos are the product of learning a piece of music by heart, then recording as many takes as is needed to get once through the tune (or however many times is required) without making too many mistakes or halting etc. This usually happens at the end of a long day and, to appease the neighbours, I won't then do anymore takes to perfect it - they will have heard enough of the tune by then. What you see is very much a starting point in the life of each tune - I will always continue to practise them and hopefully will get better in time, as I learn new techniques etc.

Very nice! I wonder if the steam donkey reference is to the ones used for logging up in the American northwest. There are still many steam donkeys abandoned out in the woods in these places. They would pull themselves up steep hills or through deep rivers. Anyways, great tune!
