Finally! A rational woman?!
The Vampire Born Out of Creative & Cultural Oppression
1922's Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror has stood as my absolute favorite movie since I first saw it 18 years ago.
With Robert Eggers's adaptation on the horizon, I figured now would be a great time to look back at the film that gave birth to the cinematic vampire, exploring its influences, impact, and lasting legacy.

Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror is a 1922 silent German Expressionist vampire film starring Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife of his estate agent, Hutter, and brings the plague to their fictional town of Wisborg, Hermany. The film is a loose adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula.

1987's Predator is one of my favorite films. It's rich, it's groundbreaking, and it's a shame that the franchise has been struggling ever since. "Predator" follows a team of commandos led by Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a skilled mercenary, who are sent to rescue hostages from a guerrilla group in a Central American jungle. However, after successfully dealing with the enemy, they realize they...
We Need More Films Like Juror #2
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.2 месяца назад
Juror #2 is easily one of the best films of the year and it is absolutely criminal that Warner Bros has limited its release to just 50 theatres in North America. Justin Kemp, an average family man, is summoned for jury duty in a high-profile murder trial. The case involves a man accused of killing his wife, with overwhelming evidence pointing to his guilt. As the trial progresses, Justin begins...

Also... why did they decide their male lead should be dying of scurvy? And not mention a word about it
LOL GOOD POINT
Yo! I put this show on when i couldnt find anything good, just to see. I watched the whole thing. Not to aay it was perfect. The camera shots for instance are Awful in many spots! Still a gem though, great watch
Totally agree with you on the camera. It got better after episode 1, but I was still surprised Berg allowed for what he did. I'd be interested in seeing a S2. The potential was there. I really liked how it didn't try to be more than it was, it knew what story it wanted to tell. Cheers dude!
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Neil Gaiman was British? I enjoyed your story reading. :) Gooch catching fire over and over was hilarious. Don't forget to SMASH THE LIKE ya'll!
LOL you are correct Appreciate you, Rick!
I'm on ep 4 of American Primeval, but I'm impressed
Ahhhh! I can't wait to hear what you think!
VeXXXy 🔥
Zaxxy!!! Don't get too hard listening to the Neil Gaiman segment.
@VexElectronica no promises 🤞🏽

Thank you Franko!! Appreciate you bud!
This movie sucked. Its only redeeming quality was Iman Vellanli. She looked like she was having a good time despite this swill of a script. She’s charismatic.
This film really shows the flaws in our system. How an innocent man can go to trial and be guilty of a crime. He didn’t commit on the other hand a man who accidentally did something. He had no idea he did until later on who is afraid to come fourth because he would then be thr This film is truly eye-opening because it highlights the harsh reality of our justice system: sometimes, no matter how innocent you are, you can find yourself caught in its crossfire and brought down as if you acted with malicious intent. It’s a sobering portrayal of how flawed the system can be, where the rules sometimes seem designed to suppress the truth rather than reveal it. For example, the judge’s insistence that no new evidence can be introduced-even if it could prove the suspect’s innocence-is shocking. Evidence should be about finding the truth, not adhering to arbitrary procedural limits. This aspect of the film is both frustrating and illuminating, as it reflects a justice system that often prioritizes bureaucracy over fairness. Meanwhile, in stark contrast to this fictional case, we see real-world scenarios where individuals with power-like a former president charged with 34 felonies-are seemingly untouchable. Political alliances and influence allow some to evade accountability, no matter how serious their alleged crimes. It’s a painful reminder of how deeply flawed the system can be, where justice is neither impartial nor consistent. This film paints a hauntingly accurate picture of these inequities, forcing us to confront the unsettling truth about the world today. What’s right is treated as wrong, and what’s wrong is protected and justified. It’s a powerful reflection on the need for reform and the consequences of a broken system.
Not sure what the hype for this movie is all about. Not only is it extremely boring it goes nowhere and says nothing. Then it just ends.
Ironically, this review was just as corny and annoying as the movie
Nice find with The Hunter, I'll have to 'track' that one down
I'm not surprised this hasn't gotten a re-release on streaming or Blu-Ray. Even when I saw it, it was super niche. I know it can be rented on RUclips. There's a really shitty quality version on RUclips as well but I don't recommend it. Found it on the seas if you want a link 😉
She’s trash
I'd never heard of this film so I watched it and enjoyed it. And just cuz I'm a father doesn't mean that ending made me cry...ok maybe a little.
The ending gets me every single time and I'm not a mother yet
@@VexElectronica Yet! You'll make an amazing Mom!!!
