CYCLING JAPAN: Ride to Lake Mashu in Hokkaido
This was the last ride of our 4 day journey into the Shiretoko National Park. The ride was a relatively short one but included an ascent up to Lake Mashu which is a caldera lake. Lake Mashu is renowned for it's crystal blue waters on clear sky days.
We finished the trip in the small town of Teshikaga which was where the trip started. So it was a four day look of the Shiretoko Peninsula

CYCLING JAPAN; Bikepacking the Shiretoko Peninsula

CYCLING JAPAN: Designing a cycling trip of Shiretoko Penninsula in Hokkaido

People have know idea that Japan gets brutally hot. In fact, even people from Southeast Asia say that Japan's humidity is off the charts. That's hard to believe!
