    I haven't even watched the video yet but I thumbs up'd for the theme song. LOL. Post-watch opinion: you have excellent points, but I respectfully don't feel the same way. I won't even say I "disagree" because I don't really, but just feel rather apathetic toward it, or feel as if you're taking it really seriously while I don't And no, I'm not even a Helluva Boss stan, I've never even seen all the episodes (seen a large portion of it but don't care enough to watch every single one) There are some cartoons I literally can't watch and enjoy because all the characters are so vile and unlikable, but I've never felt that way with Helluva Boss, despite the characters being sleazy I just think it's a fun show and I'm not offended by it because I don't think it's that deep or being intentionally harmful. I know media can be unintentionally harmful and cause real life damage, but I personally feel Helluva Boss isn't it It's definitely not my favorite show and it has its issues. I get why some people don't like it. Great video btw. I don't feel the same way but enjoyed seeing your opinion! Btw, regarding the the dog-people thing... I've been autistically obsessed with the Beetlejuice cartoon recently and it's interesting in that show's version of the afterlife there are also dog people who don't seem like they fit in. I guess it's the whole hell hounds thing. I personally have no issue with it, it's just odd

    this... was the most thorough, refreshing, and deep analysis of the show at its core. I've seen so many people talk and talk and throw concepts around but there was no cohesiveness, no conclusions from their words. but you put it all in one place and called it what it is. it's so funny because I used to have yaoi fetish fantasies like that and like, I get it. I was 15 when I had those. 😭

      @@lolabayt oh my gosh you’re making me cry thank you!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭 I made this because of those analyses. I thought they were at best ineffective and at worst just straight up homophobic. I’ve been building this argument up since the pilot first dropped and I’m so happy to see people responding well to it ☺️ And hey it’s okay to have fetish fantasies. That’s why they’re called “fantasies.” Just, like, don’t think that’s a healthy way to look at real people and situations. I really do think the most positive interpretation of this show is soft core smut. Because only then can you ignore the larger implications and just jerk it. Otherwise you have to think of these characters as, like, you know, real characters 😅

      @@friendlycatwife yes!! thank you!!! I knew helluva boss was interesting - in the way it had so much raw material to make analyses from, not so much in the way its storyline develops, lol, but - everywhere I looked people never got to the point, I was starting to feel deprived in this RUclips landscape. But this nourished me back to health. 😁 I completely forgot this was an option but I'll subscribe to you! I enjoyed your mind Also, I agree, admittedly I made it unclear but the reason I mentioned I used to have these fantasies at 15 was to underline how having a supposedly mature show written by and for adults have the same (and only) themes as a teenager's fantasy is kinda.. telling, lol. but yeah, as it goes, it's one thing to do it in your head and it's another thing to broadcast it to millions of people. minors, more specifically, cause let's be real, the large majority of the audience is minors. so, like, super harmful to their minds! most of these kids haven't had the chance to see normal gay representation to be able to contrast it with fetish content! also, just the fact that the most positive interpretation of this show is soft core smut is already sad. cause this interpretation might make the _show_ redeemable, but what it wouldn't redeem is the recontextualizing interpretation of similar Real Life situations. to not think of these characters as real people? how about not thinking of gay people as real people? Yaoi people ! 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 sorry if that was off topic, since your video was exclusively about the show and not its outside influence, but I built my points directly off of yours - and mayhaps you will find joy in this as well. I’ve been reading about dans getting really upset at kids coming to vivziepop panels, and I just laugh because yeah, like you said, kids are absolutely the audience for this (I would guess preteen to like…junior year of high school lol). The adult subject matter is just not treated with any kind of maturity, so only those who don’t know or care about that would be interested. The way some people talk about Stolas and Blitz's deal speaks miiiiiles about how they view sex work in general (because that's literally what it was before Feelings got more involved and shit became messy), but also I don't think they realize that Stolas didn't owe his grimoire to Blitz just because Y E S. 1- Blitz started their relationship with sex in exchange of the book. Stolas only continued it 2- Stolas was ALREADY permitting Blitz to use the fucking grimoire before all this shit, if you think he would take it from Blitz if Blitz refused the deal, then it says more about you than Stolas, because: 3- Blitz denied SEVERAL TIMES to have sex with Stolas. And guess what Stolas did? Nothing. Wow, what a scary abuser 4- Blitz's agency means less than shit for the antis 5- If Stolas, who never raped nor thought about raping anyone, is a rapist in the antis' eyes, then they should also consider Blitz one. Blitz pushed a LOT of boundaries in their first encounter, if Stolas wasn't into it, it would be a total red flag. He also pushed more and more boundaries in the first minutes of Apology Tour, "demanding" for sex (not really, but if you take it out of context it really seems like he's demanding). Now, Blitz never raped anyone, never considered nor thought about raping anyone, but it's not like that matters for antis. 6- The Grimoire belongs to Stolas. He decides who can or can't use, what rules one should follow to use it. Blitz stole the book that belongs to Stolas. Stolas didn't steal some precious thing that Blitz owned and desperately needed to live and said "hey if you don't fuck me you will never have your belonging back", no. This is not what happened. Stolas PROPOSED, not demanded, PROPOSED a sex deal so they could both use the book that belongs to him, and Blitz accepted the deal. It's not Stolas' fault that Blitz decided to open a business consisting in killing humans in the mortal world 7- The Grimoire is NOT Blitz's only way to go to Earth. It's only his easiest way. He could still have his business without the book 8- Sex workers have sex in exchange for financial benefits. It's their job. Are antis seriously suggesting that a costumer paying a sex worker is rape? (yes abuse against sex workers CAN and DOES happen, and it should never be ignored, but the reason of why it's abuse it's because the costumer didn't respect what was stablished. Consensual sex work is not rape just because your cheap moralism doesn't agree with it) 9- The deal is a sex work... for like, BOTH of them. Right? Stolas is also doing sex work. He needs the Grimoire as well as Blitz. Maybe more, because it's his DUTY, and the book, again, belongs to him. Stolas is also doing sex work. Y'all thought Blitz was having sex with the air?

    • @friendlycatwife
      @friendlycatwife 17 дней назад

      Hello! I replied to your other post but I'll also go down this list too: 1. They're relationship started with Blitzo stealing the book. And they met before that, when he was stealing stuff for his dad. Which is why he remembered the book years later and decided to steal it. Though this is all a bit irrelevant. Whenever and however the bad relationship started, it still happened. 2. Again, Blitzo stole the book behind Stolas's back. 3. For me it's more the power dynamic. Like, Blitzo is still in a lower position. This question will always be fraught because they are not equal in standing. Even you're wording, "Stolas did nothing," in itself shows this. Blitzo's safety is entirely based on Stolas and Blitzo knows it. When you're life and career is on the line, it's incredibly difficult to be truthful. Also we're kind of splitting hairs here. If Blitzo agreed to sex even once when he didn't want to than that's enough times for it to be not great. 4. I know antis is like a fan fiction thing, but it's also really confusing and I don't really get it (not in that community sorry haha). 5. Yeah they both suck. I say as much in my videos. I think that's part of the reason Stolas gets away with it to some viewers. If Blitzo was sweet and kind and also not a piece of crap, than yeah I do believe they're relationship would look a lot different. 6. Okay yeah here you understand that he stole the book. I also feel like we're being a little loose with the timeline? Either way, the deal was still made while Blitzo was under duress (being shot at). 7. I answered this in your other comment but yeah this all feels like new information. For a point the book was absolutely presented as the only way for Blitzo to do his job. Now it's more nebulous (along with the legality of imps going to earth, etc). Either way, we're kind of just moving around pieces in a game with the same results. This relationship is still sus. 8. I argue in my other video that this is not consensual sex work. Again, I think it's a forced agreement that Blitzo wasn't in a position to refuse. I wouldn't be surprised if they write up a new contract in a future episode to heavy air quotes "address" this? 9. I don't think the person paying for sex work is having sex work. That's not a fair distribution of labor haha I'll end with this: I don't think mistrusting the Blitzo/Stolas dynamic means that you're prudish. I'm actually going to argue the opposite. I think the best way to view Helluva Boss is as smut. And I mean this in the kindest, most sincere way. Like, toxic relationships are hot. I'll fully admit that. I will *redacted* to all this stuff. But that's the only context where this relationship is okay. If the viewer understands that all this isn't supposed to be realistic or moralistic or even be an argument on anything, than yeah, Stolas can do whatever he wants to Blitzo. It doesn't matter. But that's a separate analysis. And I know it's not what many people believe. This is a show that wants to be serious, capital A art. That last paragraph I just wrote probably upset A LOT of people. But I sincerely believe this. It's one thing to look at pron and think it's hot. It's another to internalize bad relationships as something worth pursuing. If Helluva Boss is arguing that Blitzo/Stolas is a fun, problematic relationship, that's bad. That's a bad lesson. But if we the viewer are supposed to take this as fun bullshit that should not be entertained outside of personal fantasies, then yeah! It's fine! Who cares? I hope this all answers you're questions!

      @@friendlycatwife Hey so I asked one of the tumblrs I follow more questions about the Stolas is a coercive rapist claims especially in S1 EP1 where Stolas makes the deal and this is what they said. "The thing is, Blitz was already using Stolas' grimoire way before the deal was proposed. Stolas never demanded anything, he proposed the deal and asked for Blitz's consent. The way they are in different scenarios don't symbolize rape or coercion, the 'power imbalance' in their relationship is not there to make Stolas a coercive monster because he isn't. The Full Moon is literally sex work, not coercion, not rape, not prison, it's a sex deal where *both* benefit. Stolas needs the book, the book belongs to HIM, Blitz was the one who started their relationship with sex in order to get the book (this is shown in the pilot! Not only in S2-EP1!), Stolas only continued it. The grimoire is *not* only Blitz's only way to access Earth. It's, supposedly, the easiest. Supposedly because we clearly see other low-class beings having access to Earth without stealing from some Goetia. Blitz is smart and capable enough to find a new way to go to Earth. The fact that antis can only use this scene as a "prove" that Stolas is a rapist just prove how they didn't understand anything from the show (or they are ignoring it on purpose). Literally the next episode from the same season, Blitz denies having sex with Stolas. S1-EP2, "find some else's face to plant that feathered ass". Blitz has agency, Blitz consents, and he denies fucking Stolas. In "Harvest Moon Festival", Blitz says that the deal was not something he fussed about. He talks about his deal with Stolas with his friends as a transactional fucking (cause this is what it is), he denies sex with Stolas in "Ozzie's", and we can also see Stolas' messages in "Western Energy' saying that nothing was ever forced between them. Stolas never took the grimoire away from Blitz even after months being rejected. What lacked in their relationship was communication, not consent. And I'm not even counting everything about "The Full Moon" episode. Blitz literally sings about how much he enjoys sex with Stolas, spends the whole day buying things to use on Stolas, begged for Stolas to *keep* the deal, said multiple times about how much the deal is something he enjoyed and wanted to keep, and told Loona and M&M about how Stolas never forced anything on him which lead to months without intimacy between them. Where is the coercion??? Simply, it's not there. Once Stolas starts realizing that the world isn't a fantasy and the power imbalance between him and Blitz means that his class is deeply unprivileged, he immediately finds an alternative way for Blitz to access Earth. He was feeling guilty for any possible 'abuse' he could've done (which didn't happen). The point is: antis can't see either Blitz's agency nor Stolas' intentions. They just care about their own parallel version of the show that never existed."

      @@CalloftheDragon-c9e I guess I would ask your friend (or tumblr person you follow) how they would describe this relationship. I feel weird talking with someone who isn’t here, so you can let them know I’m more than happy to have a discussion with them personally if they want to reach out to me. I’ll say one more thing though, they keep bringing up “antis,” which as far as I understand it means “people who don’t like certain fan ships.” What we’re talking about is character analysis based on the media in question. So a pro/anti fan culture discussion feels pretty random? Unless they’re defining antis as “people who don’t like certain relationships in art,” which is just an opinion and is totally valid so, like, who cares? So I guess I’d ask your tumblr friend what they mean. And maybe what it is that upsets them?

  • @CalloftheDragon-c9e
    @CalloftheDragon-c9e 17 дней назад

    Stolas is not a coercive rapist. Let's start at s1 e5: 'When this happens, it's not really something I fuss about...' and 'Well, I'm not a fan of someone I offered a job to about to off my easiest lengthy ticket to Earth behind my back.' Notice how Blitz says 'easiest lengthy ticket' here, not 'only ticket', and Blitz knows about Asmodean Crystals, as evidenced by unhappy campers where Blitz forces someone to use it to create a portal to the living world, so the grimoire was never the only option Blitz could've used to run I.M.P. Sure losing the grimoire would've disrupted business for a bit, but again, it was never Blitz's only option, so the coercion argument already falls flat there, but let's beat it up a bit further shall we? Now let's look at s1 e7, at the ending of it Stolas never pressures or forces Blitz into having sex with him or quote 'We could talk, or… watch a movie, or… maybe cuddle?', Blitz turns Stolas down here, and Stolas never forces or pressures Blitz into doing said things with him, and you know what this also proves? It proves that Blitz has always had the self-agency to tell Stolas 'no I don't want to fuck you', which also shows that Blitz actually wanted to have sex with Stolas, which we can prove by the text messages Stolas and Blitz had after Ozzie's. The text messages at the end of Western Energy show that Stolas is actively giving Blitz the option to not fuck him, which also tells us that Blitz always had the option to tell Stolas no, and hell, we can see in the All 2 U song that Blitz turned down Stolas most likely asking Blitz to stay after the sex, proving even further Blitz always had the self-agency to tell Stolas no, which shows that Blitz wanted to have sex with Stolas. I sure wish there was a funny little song showing Blitz wanting to fuck Stolas out of his entire own free will to just really drive in the point, -oh wait that actually exists with 'When I See Him Tonight" from Full Moon. and now let's look at apology tour again, Blitz wants the arrangement back, to fuck Stolas again. Which tells us something that the people peddling the bullshit 'Stolas is a rapist' argument entirely ignore, Blitz is the one unhappy with the arrangement ending, not Stolas, Blitz. Also, Blitz has the crystal by this point, he could've easily have just told Stolas to fuck off and leave if he was truly being coerced and raped by him, but he chooses to stay because at this point he thinks this gesture is a farewell gift from Stolas, and it's been made very clear that Blitz has strong feelings for him by this point despite his self-hatred, that he doesn't want to lose Stolas, which also helps to further prove that Blitz wanted to have sex with him out of his entire free will. Blitz having sex with Stolas was a way for Blitz to be close to him without having to be vulnerable, and when Stolas gets rid of the arrangement Blitz is scared because it would force him to be vulnerable towards Stolas. Is all of this really the behavior of a person who felt coerced into sex he didn't want to have? Because I think it's pretty fucking clear that Blitz at no point felt coerced into having sex with Stolas, and the antis/critics that claim otherwise I have good grounds to believe aren't even watching the same show anymore.

    • @friendlycatwife
      @friendlycatwife 17 дней назад

      See, I don't think you're wrong here. All this stuff you're saying, I really think that was the intention of the creators. I think they wanted to portray a "will they won't they" relationship where all of Blitzo's hesitance and complaining was all just him making excuses for his actual feelings. It's the tsundere archetype. What's weird to me is how this is all presented in the text. In episode 1, we see Blitzo accepting the "sex for book" arrangement under duress. He's being shot at! By comparison, we see Stolas naked in a bathtub, cool and collected, holding all the power in the conversation. There is no misunderstanding of the dynamic here. Stolas is the one holding all the chips. He is the one with the power. Blitzo is in no position to argue. Yeah the magic crystal stuff almost feels like a retcon to me. In the premiere they put a lot of emphasis on the importance of this book. Even Loona says something to the effect of "we can't do our job without this thing." It's also heavily implied (maybe even stated) that what IMP is doing isn't exactly legal, or at the very least it's frowned upon. So for a good chunk of the series we, the audience, are led to believe that this book is a really important McGuffin that Blitzo NEEDS to own in order to do his job. I think about episodes like the theme park one, where Stolas flirts with Blitzo and makes the experience incredibly uncomfortable with him. I guess he's being coy there. I remember the ending of that CIA one where Stolas shows his unlimited power and terrifies everyone. He berates Blitzo and we know there is nothing he can do about it. This was true at the beginning because he was essentially his boss (or at least benefactor), but now we also know that Stolas could kill Blitzo in an instant. That's something I think needs to be talked about more. Stolas is royalty. He is higher on the hierarchy than Blitzo. Already there is a power dynamic there that is unequal. And, as mentioned earlier, Stolas can do so many things to end Blitzo's life, including removing the one thing he needs to do his job. At no point is this an equal partnership. We can claim that Stolas is ignorant of his status, which is probably the case, but not knowing your privilege is a reason, not an excuse. There's one thing I firmly believe and that's that the relationship between Blitzo and Stolas is supposed to be toxic. There's no doubt in my mind about that. That's supposed to be a part of the fun. And on paper I have no problem with that. My issue is that the show appears to be promoting such a relationship as good and enviable, at least in my opinion. Which I think leads to this dissonance in its presentation. It's supposed to be tsundere, but also bad enough for Blitzo to have that scary drug trip/song about it, which lets the creators draw fun, macabre, Burton-esque expressions of tortured love. But to me, this desire to have everything makes the Blitzo/Stolas dynamic at best extremely confused and at worst an endorsement of a very very bad romance. The show is saying "It's okay if a relationship is toxic. It'll all work out in the end." Honestly I think they should start the show from scratch. But I don't know what the creators want and that's not my business. I thought the pilot episode was retconned out, which would have been great because it's terrible, but it looks like that's still canon. So I don't know. Either way, these are just my thoughts. You are more than free to disagree :)

That's a spell already, it's accio I think. Why can't Mrs. Weasley say "accio family dinner" and it just flies onto her table? Or maybe it's just for one item at a time and she can summon each ingredient as she needs it. The point remains.

    I watched this a year ago when I started falling out of love with the show and, Jesus Christ. A lot of things didn't click, I'm sure I'll have the same reaction in a few months, but this show is horrible. I've had to take a deep dive into past my interests and figure out WHY I liked some things that are blatantly wrong (that I no longer indulge with), like helluva boss. And I genuinely think that show's like this are bad. HB has no substance, and it's sad knowing that the majority of the fandom are teens (I was FOURTEEN when this came out and was watching it since episode 1) because whether or not fiction is fiction and you're allowed to like this stuff is irrelevant- what you watch will and actively DOES shape the way you view and think. The fandoms age, although not Vivzes fault, is concerning. Minors, and I'm guilty too, like stuff for older audiences- not because they understand, but for the sake of it. If HB had substance and nuance, it wouldn't really matter, but it *doesn't.* It feels like the writer's barely disguised fetish. All of this to say; thank you. Thank you for making this video, because everytime I rewatch it and revisit it, there's something else for me to think about. I think it's easy to throw in the towel, shout "oh but it's fiction! It doesn't affect reality!" But it still matters.

      @@LoolooWackers I can’t believe people are rewatching this video! That makes me really happy but also shy haha 😅😅😅 I remember watching South Park as a kid purely because we weren’t allowed to watch it. And I think a lot of my generation felt the same. I stopped watching it years later when I realized its politics were pretty bad, but the point is I get it. Kids want to be adults and feel mature when they watch stuff with adult content. And true, kids can be impressionable, but I think media reinforces things we already believe in, or want to believe in, rather than create new beliefs. Still, being young and thinking that the relationships in Helluva Boss are good and normal is certainly concerning. I hope you’re not being too hard on yourself. Like I say in my video, I think it’s fine to like the show, but I also think it’s important to understand what’s actually happening in it. Thank you for this comment. I really appreciated it ❤️

      @@friendlycatwife I can't believe you replied! I've honestly rewatched this video more times than I can count 😭😭😭 I completely agree about the reinforcing beliefs rather than creating them, I just get an ick knowing that I thought relationships like these were normal and actually think Stolas was right while Blitzo was wrong. I'm trying to not be too hard on myself, but it's hard when it comes to stuff like this, very pro-shippery imo. Still, HB is an interesting rabbit hole and liking it isn't bad, it's actually so fun to dissect, it's insane.

      @@LoolooWackers I’m still not used to having fans of my work so believe me when I say I’m blushing 😖😖😖 Yeah I kinda relate these relationships to other problematic depictions, like the sexiest romances in a lot of mainstream movies. Or hell, the anime crap I was raised on that I firmly believe had some part in the creation of the alt-right and incel culture. Vivziepop’s works are endlessly fascinating to me, which is why as much as I try to step away, something always pulls me back. There’s so much problematic stuff, but it feels so honest. And the fact that it resonates with so many people means something is being tapped into. Is it good? Bad? I really don’t know, but I want to learn more about it.

    I think they messed up his explanation of why he is stopping the exchange. He makes it sound like hes throwing him away. He doesn't apologize for the terrible nature the "relationship" they have. He should have been more hounest and actually put in the effort. Starting with going to blitz first, not shattering the mans expectations for the day that he had gotten comfortable with. He started the entire interaction by taking the man by surprise and then got angry with his confusion before giving him anytime to think. Imagine going to to a pitzza shop that you go too regularly then they serve you sushi then when you ask why thet get angry that you don't like the sushi. It's a ridiculous argument for stolis to be in the right.

    Hearing a video essay on this show from the perspective someone who seemingly went into it blind without any prior knowledge about the show or external lore drops done by the writers makes me understand the problems even more. I came into the show already knowing everything about it. Me, and the fandom at large, tend to have a mutual & universal understanding of all the lore. Not knowing that Sally is trans, that imps are actually called imps, and that Hell has a hierarchy was never a problem that occurred to me whatsoever. The target audience is an already existing fanbase that Viv had already built up over the course of years. It’s no surprise that new viewers would come into it completely lost. The narrative of the show expects you to already understand the lore and the backstory behind anything. This was never an issue that occurred to me because I was already a fan years ago. And you’re totally right about this show primarily appealing to younger audiences. I LOVED this show in middle school, and so did my friends. As I’ve gotten older (I’m now almost 18) it totally fell off for me.

      @@spyritsolz that is so fascinating! Being there for every moment along with the creators, not just watching the show but consuming all the supplementary material, discussing with fans daily the ins and outs of everything. At that point you’re really watching your own show that a casual viewer would have no idea of. Reminds me a bit of my brony days. I’m working on a future video about fandom as an additional category of pretext. If enough people believe something, what’s stopping it from becoming real? There’s just so much to talk about with fan culture and I’m super excited! ❤️❤️❤️

    I understand that blizto is a horrible character he's done bad things... i like blitzo more than stolas because between stolas and blitzo, blizto is the only one who's getting backlash(for good reason). For example, from his ex-girlfriend V, she tells him that he's done bad things and that he's a shitty person. Blizto shows that he wants to change, and that's good... But stolas, on the other hand, get treated like he's done nothing wrong... He's not gonna change.

    So I wasn't the biggest fan of your first video (as we made clear in conversations), but in the year or so since, I fell off the Hellaverse hype train as it were due to both the noticeable decline in the writing as well as things about Vivzie and Spindlehorse that....are not good at all. And after watching this video and realizing just HOW bad the writing got since I stopped watching and realizing that a lot of criticisms I found unfounded in the original video were now COMPLETELY justified.... Guess I gotta go on an "Apology Tour" of my own....Eyyyy? EYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???? :D I'm horrible XD

    Hi! I'm from the other video you did about Apology Tour and honestly, HB is making a turn for the worse currently... recent material has proved that along with the shorts and Stoliz! UGH, I hate it so MUCH like this show feels like it was made specifically for those who are fujoshi, and the swear words like tone it down for impact! Fujoshi is.... a Yaoi Fangirl is a female otaku who enjoys anime and manga featuring handsome men in homoerotic relationships. Unlike those who simply enjoy watching male-on-male physical intimacy, yaoi fangirls are primarily interested in the romantic and emotional aspects of these relationships, often through fanfiction, shipping, or original works. The Japanese term for yaoi fangirl is fujoshi, often mistakenly used as a blanket term for all female otaku. To differentiate, those who fantasize about heterosexual relationships with fictional characters are called yumejoshi. Male yaoi fans are known as fudanshi and may also enjoy bara, a more explicit genre. While yaoi fanboys are rare in mainstream media, they are more common in yaoi-centric works, often depicted as audience surrogates or struggling with their own romantic desires. BTW, Yaoi is basically what Stoliz is but make it anime I felt like after Queen Bee that's when the show went downhill, slowly and now it has this weird hate of it's own main character for upsetting the fan-favorite... Stolas and what Viv is doing is basically RETCONNING and CHANGING their character to fit the needs of people like Stolas or even VEROSIKA! Like she's super spiteful, making a party to hate on one ex, like girl, have you moved on like your un-catchy song said?! People, it IS NOT healthy to stalk your ex and humiliate them at every turn that isn't healthy, even if they hurt you just get someone to help you move through it I got so tried of this show so I decided to rewrite it! :D Nice video as always!

    I honestly HATE the fact the show takes this "fairytale approach" and forces characters into Christian/conservative monogamy, like with the two incubi in Apology Tour or Fizz and Ozzie pretty soon like they're placing M&M or Chaggie, which to me feels somewhat boring for both (though it's cute) on this pedestal of "the relationships every deviant MUST have" and forces characters together UGH where's the polyamory here or the fact that sex workers CAN work in the porn industry just with consent, heck now they're making Blitzø apologize for murdering a human LIKE WHAT?! Excuse me, but these are demons just let them be complex, and anti-heroic or just EVIL for once instead of uwu woobies >:( like Blitzø should've been HAPPY he got out of a toxic deal, but NOPE instead the show forces him to beg for his abuser's forgiveness, it just irks me SO MUCH! I honestly hc Blitzø as demiromantic since it explains his feelings about relationships pretty well and that his partners HAVE TO BE patient with him and let him explore the romantic sides of their relationship by himself and THEN let him say "I love you" genuinely! About the sex jokes, I just honestly think it'd be better if they'd try to make it more nuanced so it doesn't look like the whole show was written by a middle schooler... This is honestly a based take @friendlycatwife :)

    So about the shows that you haven’t seen that I have: The Legend of Tarzan - D. Sequel series to the Disney film. Mediocre voice acting and animation, especially compared to the movie. Plus, some of the episodes are just bizarre. But it’s for the most part inoffensive. Lilo and Stitch - C. Lilo and Stitch are tasked with finding the other 625 experiments. Cool concept, and many of the experiments are pretty creatively thought out and designed. But the experiments’ potential is often wasted, and it mostly feels like a generic kids’ show, especially when following up on something as emotional and powerful as the movie. Batman: The Brave and the Bold - B. A jokier Batman cartoon. It leans a bit more towards the campiness of the Adam West show, but with the kickassery of the Animated Series. Not for everyone, though. Plus, there’s one villain that could be read as a transphobic caricature.
