Currently I am posted in Uttarakhand Gramin Bank and main pichle 7 years se govt. banks mein work kar raha hoon, before this I was in IDBI and I accept that work load and pressure has been increasing year on year but let me tell you one thing that I am still enjoying my life to the fullest despite getting 3 transfers in the last 3 years 😅 (Due to my promotion and being in probation period in the initial period). I literally get bored at one place, city, town within one year and as my wife and I travel a lot so we like to explore new places and in depth exploration cannot be done in one or two weeks. You have to stay at a place for some months to explore that place and also the nearby places. Also you interact with locals, explore their culture, tradition, mentality etc. Money wise let me tell you that 4 years ago I was getting Rs. 60,000/- as in hand salary and in just 4 years my net salary has doubled to Rs. 1,22,000/- due to two wage settlements within 3 year period and also this year I got promotion, and I got promoted to Scale-3 in just 3.5 years after joining UGB as Scale-2. I joined this bank to get a higher scale/grade (from Scale-1 to Scale-2) after working in IDBI for 3 years. At 31 years of age I have become Scale-3 (Senior Manager), so growth wise I am loving it. Posting wise I am loving it because due to my performance I have always been posted at either big cities or at tourist destinations. Work load wise I feel ok ok because these days work load is there in every job in this world, so no one can escape that. Income wise I am very happy as my gross salary is more than Rs. 1,60,000/- per month (The growth in salary is at par or higher than that of any private sector job).
