Good video however always use appropriate thread tape on all your threads with 1 and a half clockwise wraps. This is from the factory service manual.

Wow what a blast from the past. I cut our lawns with a mower virtually identical to this as a boy. From memory though, the throttle engages the choke at the highest point. When it's dying in your video maybe its because you're looking for extra revs but in fact pushing it into the choke position? Just a thought. So good to see the old girl going though. I remember stressing that there was no clutch, you had to be careful not to clip a tree or something because it would just keep driving until you brought the gear lever back to the brake position.

Mine is not allowed 1 section of the brakes to release Rh Back and Lh front wheels I opened the bleed screw and released them that way I also need to do the clutch cylinder it’s been weeping a little since 2008 Any info greatly appreciated thanks again

maybe if you oiled the chains more than once a year they wouldnt break so much. old oil is cheaper than chains and down time

Brilliant mate. Mine is untrustworthy usually, thought it was just a Toyota thing :) I had to brake hard recently when someone in front saw that they had to turn NOW!!! My low level light came on and it won't reset. I have added fuel and driven it around but that didn't fix it. Like you I have been fooled by the reading before. I once drove in a panic to fill up because the gauge told me I was nearly empty and I managed to get 25 l in. Thanks for this video, I now have a reference to begin my investigation.

If your hub nuts are loose would it cause your steering to wonder a bit?

Superiors gear is manufactured in Thailand. Good quality steel products but wouldn’t go there shocks. Better brands out there.
