LAUTERBRUNNEN, a 3 day stop on our Switzerland road trip in the spring of 2024. This was THE #1 place on my bucket list. To go from dreaming, to planning, to actually being there was beyond my wildest dreams! Then going up 4 gondolas to reach Schilthorn was absolutely magnificent! This memory video was made so we NEVER forget how spectacular this trip was!

This beautiful castle and grounds are on the Meggen peninsula overlooking Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. This 17th century castle is family owned and operated, used today as a venue for events and weddings. It is a very serene and peaceful spot with the most spectacular views! We loved it so much that we went back a second time.

Lucerne Switzerland, one of our stops on our Switzerland road trip in the spring of 2024! The city is absolutely beautiful with medieval architecture, ancient wooden walking bridges, fortress walls which you can walk, with amazing views of the city, all backed by stunning snow capped mountains.

How do we make it through a long Canadian winter...? We make SNOW ART! Here is how we do it!

We spent an afternoon in Oxford while on our spring European road trip in 2024. We were so happy we did, it's beautiful!

We knew it would be impressive but it was so much more than we were expecting! John had been before years ago but I had never and let's just say, "OMG look at that building" was said dozens of times. And the pubs, you can't beat the pubs and the pub culture! This is a memory video of our two days. We must return!

When you are Canadian and winters are long, you strap on your snowshoes and get out and play. This snow art was inspired by a trip to Portugal and visiting the Knights Templar town of Tomar.

From Lisbon to Sintra, to the Algarve, to the east coast walled towns, to the central beauties of Evora, Elvas, Tomar, Coimbra, to the Douro valley to Porto and then a short flight over to Sao Miguel. Portugal did NOT disappoint! And let's not forget the unbelievable wine!

Tomar was one of our many stops on our one month long road trip around Portugal in 2023. Tomar was the last Knights Templar town to be commissioned for construction in 1160! The Convent of Christ was definitely a highlight of this stop.

Monsaraz was one of our stops on our 2023 Portugal road trip. Monsaraz is on the east coast, not far from the Spanish border. It's white washed buildings, spotless clean streets and very friendly shop owners made this place a perfect stopover on our one month road trip through Portugal. The views to the valley and waterways below were breathtaking.

We had no idea Sao Miguel was so beautiful! It's as if Iceland and Ireland had a baby! This is a memory video of our 6 days of exploring the island! We hope you enjoy. Charmaigne & John xx

Marvao, in eastern Portugal was one of our favourite places we visited on our month long road trip through Portugal!
