Here it is, the last in the series! This one is short and sweet since the yarn over is one of the easies knitting increases. There are many more knitting stitches and variations out there, but I've tried to cover the basics plus extra. :) If there's one I haven't done that you'd like to see just let me know in the comments!

Просмотров 436 лет назад
Knitting and Purling 2tog tbl (the abbreviated version of the stitches) is the same as knitting and purling through the back loop, with the difference of doing two stitches at once. This is my last planned decrease video, and the last substantial video of this series. Next week I'll have a short video on yarning over, and I'll be done! Hope ya'll have enjoyed! How to SKPSSO & SPPSSO

The long names for these are slip, knit, pass slipped stitch over, and slip, purl, pass slipped stitch over. Try saying one of those three times fast. Or even once. I had to rerecord the opener about 3 times before I got it right. XP These are two versions of the same decrease. The knitting version is fairly common in patterns, but I haven't actually used the purl version before now, but in cas...

Hello! In this video I'll show you how to knit in the front and back loop, and how to purl in the front and back loop. It's an increase stitch that turns 1 stitch into 2. This is basically a combination of a knit stitch, and knit in the back loop, and the same for the purl version. So, if you need a more detailed version check out my knit, purl, and knit and purl in the back loop videos. Facebo...

    Love your twine balls. I have tried this several times and the twine slides around on the balloons and I think they are so beautiful. Last time a couple days ago I tried it and got so disgusted that I cried and threw everything away. I want to make them so much. I want to make bigger ones but maybe smaller ones would be better until I get the hang of it. Do you have any tips for me? Yours are so pretty! Thank you!

    You could tie them up to allow to dry

    Feed the twine out from the middle it’s much easier.

    I suggest painting on the glue and sprinkling the epsom salt onto the pine cones.

    Save a step, since balloon is wrapped with twine you measured out, just roll the balloon in glue mixture, making sure it’s saturated! Just suggestion, then the twine with glue won’t be flying all over the place because it’s already wrapped!

      Good idea or how about putting twine on balloon and roll them in the bowl of glue?

      You could use exterior wood glue. That's what I use for my paper mache jack o lanterns. I like to keep them on the front porch and don't want the moisture in the air (I live in SC) to destroy them

    Good morning....do you need to bake pinecones that you buy from the store???

    • @cahabacrafts9179
      @cahabacrafts9179 4 года назад

      I doubt it. If they’re closed then maybe baking them will open them up, but I think it would be unlikely. The ones I got from outside were closed because they were wet, so baking dried them out and they opened. If they’re closed from the store they’ve likely done something to keep them closed.

    How long in the oven?

    • @cahabacrafts9179
      @cahabacrafts9179 4 года назад

      Hi! The time varies depending on what you’re doing. It shouldn’t take longer than 20-30 minutes though. If they’re closed then just keep checking and turning them until their open, however long that takes. If they’re already open, you’re mostly just killing bugs, so 30 minutes should be plenty for that.
