I have to say Robot was a bit dull in comparison to the next four stories but by the time Genesis of the Daleks and Revenge of the Cyberman came on there was no doubt about Tom's role as the Doctor.

Man... he looks his age for sure but his voice sounds just the same. Incredible. :)

I loved the scene where in his final days as the Dr, David Tennant told Tom Baker: "you were always my doctor"

This takes me back. Way back in my college days (about a century ago), my buddies and I would gather together in the dorm lounge every Saturday night to watch Tom as "Doctor Who" on the local PBS channel. They can go through a thousand different time lords, but Tom will always be "The Doctor" to me.

Who would have thought a celeb would wish for the best of ALL their fans as opposed to just the ones who lean to one side or the other. That just doesn't happen today and celebs will tell you outright if you don't lean one way they don't want you as fans and actually wish ill of you. Tom Baker is a class act for sure.

He reminds me of my dotty old Canadian uncle Oswald. A few unintentional nonsequiturs with a hint of good natured mockery all wrapped in a plummy Brit accent. Maybe that's why I liked him as the Doctor.

Tom Baker done a superb job as the bad boy Koura in Sinbad.

Best Dr and best partner in Sarah J Smith (Elizabeth Sladen, RIP), who I had a healthy crush on lol. Such a shame the series has degenerated into a woke dung pile now.

40 years ago, I came home from work, turned on the TV, and the first time I saw Dr. Who, there was Tom Baker, dying, and then regenerating into Peter Davison. Which was strange as Peter Davison was a big hit at the time on All Creatures Great and Small.

He now looks a bit like the first Doctor as played by William Hartnel.

Love Tom so much. He change our lives for the better.
