I like how you're technical with your reactions. It's very constructive, we VIPs are proud. Taeyang (dreadlocks guy)is the main vocalist most of influence comes RnB e.g. Usher and the likes. TAEYANG has some solo music, Eyes nose, lips is one of most popular songs ,you can look him up. He has influenced a lot Kpop vocalist in Korea because of singing (esp live) and dancing skills Second guy is Daesang he's more rock n roll and Korean tarrot style of music most of his influence comes from asian music .He has a big Japanese following .

It’s not difficult for Twice but if you deep dive on Twice discography, from the beginning Twice never need to collabs with western artist to be on top like other K-pop group, It just they not used too, Megan is the first western artist they did the collaboration on their title track in their 9 years journey as Kpop gg, even once their fans was surprised to hear this collab.

The thing is that they’re literally legendary. Way back in 2009 I was like in grade 3 : 8 years old, never knew what kpop was but ended up listening to their song ‘Haru Haru’ it re-wired my brain😂 and even tho due to lack of internet connectivity I never got to ‘Stan’ then or get into kpop, I got to know about Koreans and korea through them. That too I’m from Arunachal Pradesh, India (North east) a region most people don’t even know of and yet I knew them. Heck even a lot of people from India my own country don’t know about my place (we are closer to China and we have Mongolid features and are ethnically completely different than the mainland indian) So what I’m saying is that, this small place that I’m from that even my own countrymen don’t know about ; Bigbang was able to reach here and mind u in 2008-009 when Internet wasn’t as widely available. My elder cousins loved them. A lot of people even learned about fashion through them. They’re that legendary (Later started stanning them in 2012)

The one with the vocals is Taeyang, he IS the R&B-ish vibe of BigBang, you should look a his solo music, I could give you a list but it'll be too damn long hahahahaha BigBang has so much versatility because all of their members has it unique style that adds up to the concept that you culd never box that group in one particular genre. GD and T.O.P in the rapping, Tae with his r&b style, Daesung with a very soul-ish vocal and Seungri kind of tie things with how mellow he can sound. They really did experiment with their music, thats why I love them.

You should watch their live performances specifically the ring ding dong/lucifer and excuse me miss performances from SWC5. These are some of their largest OG hits and they really shine live.

JYP was completely blind sided at Twice becoming so popular outside of Korea and Japan. They never used to do the most basic thing like uploading content with English subtitles(not counting MV title tracks). Fan edits with English subtitles are hugely responsible for exposing Twice to a larger audience outside of Asia. Without those super popular English RUclips guides and funny compilations of Vlives and Twice TV, international fans would have never come to love Twice for more than their music on playlists.
