Thank you! According to Board Games Geek it is best at 2-4 players. I have never played at 2 so I'm not sure what to suggest. The game really works when you have enough rounds to be able to build combos (that's why the higher player counts sometimes are not as fun, the game ends too soon) but also when you are able to go through a good amount of the deck so that good combos can come up. The lower player counts can struggle with the second part. For this reason there is a drafting variant for 2 players in the rulebook that allows to mitigate this little flaw! So for sure they put some effort into making sure the game is enjoyable at 2 players too 😃

Never tried the Solo mode though. I thought you chose the lables for suspense ^^ I just hovered the mouse so that I would see the covers you showed to jump back and forth ... a bit inconvenient though but it worked. Nice, I'm playing Edge of the Earth with my friends now and I'm a Marvel Champions noob so looking forward to digging a little bit more into the Fantasy Flight Games world ahahah I make videos in English because I live in Sweden and all my games are in English anyways. And I guess it also works because it is a bigger audience, even though the English speaking board games RUclips world might be more saturated So the main reason is definitely the fact that I have all my games in English

I was not expecting the video to be this long and I was not expecting it to be so tiring to record it. I also realized for some games I could've given some extra relevant info, even added a comment on screen about that. @@jucchee Now that I have subscribed, I can watch you progress with production. I have been wanting to film #500. I have struggling trying to find a set up that works for filming. When I set up for regular play, I use all the space. Filimg from a great distance is hard to see and not enjoyable to watch. I have done some up close edits but it's very time consuming. I don't mind the time at all. I just keep thinking, 1 would I rewatch it, 2 would it be better just to do highlights. Anyhow, I still need to watch the next one. I will let you know when the portal has closed and we can count up victory points. 🧙🏾‍♂️⚔️🐲

Oh you must have HATED me while watching 😂 this video is not my best performance considering bad lighting, the HUGE game board and rules mistakes ahaha I must admit the automa tiles are a bit overwhelming! So much so that I started recording the video and after like 1h I restarted from scratch because I was extra confused. I should have given it a solo run before recording! Hi and thanks for watching! This is a special scenario that does not include the anomaly mechanism but instead has the outbreak mechanism. So in this scenario there is no anomaly being placed when reaching 3 doom (or 5 doom in the neighborhood). Instead, when the 4th doom would be placed in a space, it will cause an outbreak adding one doom to the scenario sheet and one doom to each other location in that neighborhood Hope this helps!

Hi! Thank you for the comment! I'm not sure which moment of the video you are talking about unfortunately. The rulebook says you can perform move, one heroic action and any number of free actions in any order during your turn so you are allowed to perform your heroic action and then move. What you are not allowed to do is start your movement, do an heroic action, and then keep moving. So if I did that I'm sorry, and if you know the timestamp I can add it as a note for everyone. Hope this was helpful!

No, I'm 99% sure this is the basic retail version with no expansions included. The print and play was created to give an idea of what the game would look like, not to be an exact full reproduction of the base game Extra info: They had a new season's Kickstarter coming out recently called "the council" and it's gonna be delivered to backers in 2025 I think, so coming to retail only after that Honestly (I'm guessing you like one deck dungeon a lot) I must say I liked mini rogue and tiny epic dungeons (especially TED) much more than I liked ODD, so maybe consider giving this one a try. It might seem a bit repetitive at a certain point but all these games have this problem of having only so many components to allow a vast replayability.

Hi! Yes, there are 3 expansions with extra scenarios, maps, locations and cards. I don't own any but you can check it out on their official page under "expansions" www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/arkham-horror-third-edition/ Also their last expansion was released in 2021 so I'm not confident they will actually release more to be honest. This might be all the AH3ED content we'll get, but who knows!

​@@juccheeI did back the new season, so very much excited. There is the different stances card (offensive, balanced, defensive) that can add an extra layer to the game. The defensive stance (+1 armor, no misses, no critical) is a nice play at times, both on early floors to fully block early monster battles and also on later floors when you're on a bad luck streak!

"I died" indeed, just like I say in the video 😂😅 Oh I know about the campaign rules but I didn't want to engage in a full campaign before testing out some possible scenarios standalone, that's why I don't add checkmarks and stuff. Now I realize without campaign mode it's very very hard to be able to score successes, especially with medium and hard bosses. But for the following videos, I cheated a bit giving myself some extra basic skills because I was tired of "dying" so take that as my way of adding powerups. Maybe I'll play a full campaign one day!

@@jucchee whatever rocks your boat lol ♪ I loove the (avant la lettre) roguelite campaign system. I suspect that asmadi (Chris) wanted to market it as more approachable i.e. more sales, that's why the RB starts with normal mode. But they should have started more honestly with "look, you're supposed to die many times but you get to make your build via the following campaign system". The rules aren't very clear either, i.e. not for the general public ("your grandmother"). Not only that, the rules are hard to keep track of, and I found while playing the digital version later (on switch) after the analog, I had misread some boss rules on boss cards. Finally, ppl complain the game is boring and dice may kill you, but they're missing completely the fact the game is very nuanced in how the skills you get after defeating a monster are distributed. I highly recommend you print out the "player board", two A4 sheets that help setting up, on bgg file section (or I can share it via gdrive).

Btw I checked the 1.6 rulebook and they do mention it on the first page in the bottom...

Thanks for your feedback! Yes I totally agree. I honestly think my main problem is not having a proper overhead camera and this was my first "smaller" game recorded! But I realized for the next videos of the series I could have optimized spaces more and in general this was one of my first videos ever recorded so I'm still trying to practice a little 😭 Maybe you will be able to read more in the following videos of the one deck dungeon series (I still need to publish 2 and 2 are out already)
