SD Card Slot?
#ihateAIvoices
Nautlus no 73 keya
What a fluffy bullshit video this is. 🤮
The Montage is not a workstation is a synthetizer !
Where is the Nautilus Card slot. I don't have one !
Which is the best grand piano sound on a portable with built in speakers?
Get an electric piano if all you care about is good piano spunds / playability. Those workstations dont have built in sleakers. I am using two roland FP30s and they are great machines, with very capable built in speakers. When you plug them into a good PA it becomes truely next level and its a lot cheaper than a workstation.
Probably the fantom with his vpiano. With the ph5 + the vpiano + the extremely qualitative effects of the fantom + the superposition of sounds, the fantom is far above it. Ya Yamaha is also a sure bet in terms of piano sound. To give a comparison, the fantom 8 is the piano equivalent of the rd2000 which is exclusively reserved for the piano.
@@E.Bernay the Fantom doesn't have built in speakers
@@meestuinier4486 Ah yes my bad I'm not English I misunderstood the expression "build in". Indeed, it's not the workstation side that you should turn to in this case but honestly you might as well just buy speakers if you want good sound...
Casio
This was fun and all. But let's be honest... Nothing quite like taking the marketing splurb for each synth and getting an annoying AI voice to read it back to you
Thanks for joining us on each instrument 😂..like what 🤷🏾♂️
That AI voice is awful
All words no use video
Canned story teller. Sounds like AI talk.
Holy Korg will return. We believe
Kuzweil K2700?
It would be a better match for Fantom etc.
Roland phantom seems like a VERY good option
MPC key61 is No.1 !!!
😘 'PromoSM'
Been playing for 65 years. Never ever have I known anyone call it a Tella.
FA08 Akai ryusei custom
wow! super editing! take it easy,The,;))
Not equal comparison! Roland is beyond any other with its deep functions & sound.
Iv watched a dozen videos on BT* speakers. Apparently EVERY BT* speaker on the market is incredible in every way imaginable.
it's very difficult to repair by design, you can't even replace the battery without significant hassle. also, an i5 1230u draws base 9 watts and draws 29w max, and has a max rated temperature of 100 celcius (it won't throttle the clock speeds until it reaches that temperature). not exactly hard to cool.
Cool
I don't know why people class the Montage as a 'workstation', or even why Yamaha 'thinks' that the Montage is a workstation, because it's not. At least in the way that the majority of us think of as a workstation. The Montage does NOT have a traditional 16-track sequencer in the way that every other past or current workstation does, because they 'assume' that the majority of end users will be using their DAW for that on their computer, and nothing could be further from the truth. The Montage is more of a synthesizer than a workstation. Every other workstation listed here ARE workstations. It's a shame that the Kronos has been discontinued, but in saying that, at least on this list, my pick would be the Korg Nautilus. The only thing that is missing in the Nautilus that I HOPE that Korg bring back to their next workstation (whenever that will be), is KARMA. Also just to correct you, the Nautilus is also available in 61 keys, as well as 73 and 88 keys, and bear in mind too that Nautilus have also brought out an AT model of the Nautilus (aftertouch), but it's only available in the 61 and 88 key model or as an upgrade for the original Nautilus 61 or 88-key workstations.
Whats the difference between workstations and synthesizers? Their all wprkstation keyboards no? ( im new to keyboards as i was trained as a classical painist growing up and am now looking to play wroship for church )
@@adamvarghesesatish3337 In a nutshell, a synthesizer is just that. It allows you to recreate and manipulate raw sounds from the ground up to make new and interesting sounds (think of an MS-20, Korg Karma or Polysix from ages ago) A workstation as the name suggests, think of these as a studio with keys. It allows you to sequence tracks and mix them, and sample sounds you create from your own instruments (guitars etc), amongst other things. A workstation also allows you to connect them to a computer via USB or MIDI and record in your tracks to a DAW. Hope that makes sense. Basically, a synthesizer you can only make and manipulate sounds. A workstation you can that plus everything else. Korg Kronos, Nautilus, M3, OASYS, Yamaha Montage (to a point), Yamaha MOTIF (all of them) and most arrangers like the Korg PA series and Yamaha TYROS and GENOS after that, they're all workstations.
@@jordanking7711 oh ok. Thanks man. Because when i searched up synthesuzers on google, i see these big boxes with tons of knobs and very few keys.... and i was confused between what that type of synth was and what a synth workstation was. Just to clarify.... all proffesional keyboards are wprkstations.... workstations can be divided into 2.... arrangers and synthesizers..... am i correct? And then you have MIDI keyboards but every workstation is a MIDI keyboards in itself yes?
@@adamvarghesesatish3337 Yes to both. The definition of a workstation is sounds (of course), effects and a sequencer. Any keyboard that can do those three things is a workstation (arranger or otherwise because even arrangers are workstations). Also yes even workstations can be used as MIDI controllers by connecting said keyboard via USB or MIDI to a computer to be used in a DAW (Cubase, Ableton Live, Pro Tools etc)
@@adamvarghesesatish3337 Also just to let you know, those boxes with lots of knobs and not many keys, (like the Korg MS-20, PolySix etc) they are called analog synthesizers. And they are used mainly for sound creation and live performance, and nothing else. That’s why they are synthesizers and not workstations.
This is so STUPID. Not 1 second of how any of the keyboards actually sound. 💩💩💩
What a bad video... this is just marketing parrot talking, no tests, no review, no nothing... even the videos shown are utter bull..
Genos is the Best
Genos is an arranger and not a workstation.
@@costa1854whats the differenec? I thought all proffesional key boards are workstations yeah? And then you have arranger workstations like genos and then synthesizer workstations like montage 8. If im wrong please correct me . Also, whats the difference between synthesizers shown in thes video and synthesizers shown in google?
@@costa1854when i search synthesizers on google, i see alot of small number of keys boards with like loads of knobs . But then synthesizers on yt look much more like workstation keyboards... why is that? Is it cuz synthesizers are itself a different instrument to synthesizer wrokstations? Where specific workstations contain synthesizer functions where as synthesizers themselves only function as synthesizers?

Lenovo is the worst ever scam. My Ideapad has a dead battery after 13 months and they asked me to replace it with 25-30% of the cost of the laptop coz warranty for the battery was only for 12 months. Its a scam.
You can learn more, if you read their website proclamations …
I found yamaha instruments to be of poor build quality- switches and buttons mysteriously ceasing to function just after the guarantee had run out. No thank you...
Of course, just after guarentee… thats clever of them to exactly produce parts like that. Get real.
Really, they used to be know for their great quality.. .What happened?
you’re being over dramatic. Your one experience doesnt tell the whole story. Yamaha makes great instruments
Sure
The Montage successor is supposed to be announced in October.
They may combine motif and the montage
Do you guys know when the montage 8 was introduced? And why they stopped making it?
