👌👌👌
Very detailed video, I love it however I am a beginner stone polisher
Can you use the coarser ones to simulate sandblasting finishing?
Danke für's Einstellen
Thank you for sharing the detailed and tips on how to filed and sanding inside the ring shank ❤
this lady's teaching needs to be on her own channel this is the best jewellery tutorials on here and I have seen them all, this needs more views!!!!!!
So nice to see this get finished! Congrats to everyone on making this heartwarming little story!
Thank you so much for telling the viewers about the Silica dust. I have a dental lab and had to stop using the Tripoli because it has silica in it and even with a mask, face shield and a dust collector running full time I would always develop cough by the end of the day. At first I didn’t know about the Silica it was only when I had to order a new bar there was a label with a big warning.
Home items for sparkle &shine.
You are simply the best teacher, the way you explain and your soothing voice is unmatched. So many complicated things explained in a simple way. Thank you
this was great and she showed 2 types of abrasive wheels, thaks
OMG, I miss you so much! You are the best teacher
Hi, What is casting skin?
Yasha
thank you so much, you're awesome.
Good on common mistakes
Thankyou for clarifying these tools, I've just bought a foredom kit and wasn't too sure about all the attachments. You explain so well
Your a great teacher! Thank you
Thank you so much! This info is invaluable! Due to a chatty Kathy in my metal smithing class, we didn’t get to cover these details. I am forever grateful for the sharing of your knowledge! As an educator in the beauty industry... I especially appreciated your pointer and flash cards💕💕💕
Great video, Can't thank enough.
Can't thank you enough. I come from a culture where the teacher is considered as a god.
This is fascinating! Would love to see a video about how to polish using pendant drill accessories, for those who do not have this polishing machine - would that be possible?
Some of the best, if not the best, polishing instruction on YT and virtually no one knows about it. So sad and unfortunate. I see polishing videos from less capable jewelers who don't really understand the process get so many more views. It's due to YT's algorithm. You're not playing it to your advantage. Just so that you understand, these are the predominant factors in YT's dispersion algorithm - view time (ie. whether a viewer watches the entire video), and participation (ie. likes/dislikes, comments). At least answer people's questions and engage with the audience. I'm tempted to respond to them, but it's likely a bit late.
For watch bracelet, which kind do you recommend? Also what rotary tool is that you use ? Can you give me a link? Thanks.
Can you tell me where to find those wheels? Do they have to be threaded?
The wheels can be had from a jewelry supply store like Rio Grande, and places like Amazon and ebay. I'd suggest Rio Grande. You'll be able to choose a buff best suited for your needs. If you're asking whether it's the center that has to be threaded, the answer is no. Typically it's either leather or shellac which self-threads onto the spindle. Good luck.
Great info. Very basic and easy principles to follow. Thank you!
I shared your video series with the Sisterhood of Metalsmiths FB Page, because it is so important to share this knowledge. Thank you so much! Where did you get your bench? It looks like a custom one. Very nice!
I am so lucky to have these lessons. Basically self taught in a European workshop, I'm trying to remember everything in my pre-senior years... Nice to have these traditional approaches re-explained with new approaches too.
Thanks for the video!
Thank you so much for your time in explaining these flex shaft accessories !
A very helpful video. Thank you.
I want to get into fine jewelry making so bad! Always have! I can solder braze weld and use all the hand tools from my trades. How do I get into jewelry. I was planning on making a couple rings out of brass nuts and bring them to shops and ask for a job. Lol.
You ever follow through with that?
thank you so much for those courses i hope if do some thing for it i suggested to make more jewelery courses and load it in udemy or in deferent palatform and i think how need those courses can pay for it again thanks and if there is more like those plz share it withe us
Nice ☺️
Wonderful. We don't have this field here though I want to be a Biomedical illustrator I'm struggling for my self in this regard.
This is amazing! So helpful, you dont even understand! Thank you
this is such a great series! thank you!
If you are working with small pieces or cuff I was always told to work with the small cotton wheel buffs. My teachers was working for Tiffany's in New York and her partner got his arm caught in the large cotton wheel buffs. The smaller ones are better and safer to use. You also have more space to move around.
I really relate to this 100%. Thank you so much n God bless
Wonderful! I can completely relate. Thank you for sharing.
These are fantastic! Thank-you Martha.
Really good video
