are you still using the stock fuel tank? if so where did you get the fuel sending unit to connect to the fuel guage?
@@CristyCollord no running a universal tank in the trunk with a stewart warner sending unit
A real genuine seat of your pants honest to God HOT ROD.
What a master piece, never knew a flat head ford could sound that healthy
Thanks!
This is where hot rodding started, not with small block chevy or mopars either.
When RUclips says: Come back and listen to this flathead.
Comments on this site sound as if they were writen by the children or grand children of those of us who managed to actually live in the late 40's and early 50's. These people may present some fact but not the hands on experience.
Just found your build thread over on the HAMB. Great traditional car Ryan, well done!
Sexiest car ever
Hey Ryan do you remember the name or code of the color of the car? I like it
1966 vw L472 beige gray
@@ryanfrederic7100 thank you
You did a great job Ryan!!! And the sound is amazing!!! Thanks for sharing!! Morato from Brazil
What size exhaust are you using, 2 inch, 2.25? Just curious
Children this was what the first hot rod looked like maybe not that clean bad ass though⚙️⚙️⚙️🔥🔥🔥
Any chance we can get more videos of this hotrod! Very nice!!
I can't stand somebody driving a roadster with a flathead stroker you can't step on it a little harder than that
Beautiful
🟥 How can you NOT like that?
earporn!!
Like the Ford grey, it's spreads nice
i hope he finished it
Music to my ears
Love this roadster. Keep finding myself coming back to it.
Thanks!
I LOVE IT!~
Love it! Probably smells amazing too!
Sounds great brother
nice nice nice NICE....
This is one of my favorite build threads on the hamb. Really love this roadster and it is beautiful inside and out
Thanks man!
Cool👍 It's nice to see the old school Ford Flathead V8 still in this car instead of a Chevy LS.
Sooooo sweet
Sounds real nice and mean.
TIDY
What a nice , simple, down to earth Hot rod, the way they should be.
My first car was a 53 Ford with a 239 flat head with 2 in lined carbs just love them flat heads
Very sweet. Every bit as cool as the 32 roadster in my book.Cheaper to build too.
I’m trying to figure out was is and is not stock and uhhhh that rear diff poking out doesn’t look stock
Sweet👍
Finally. A Ford Model A with a FORD FLATHEAD ENGINE. Thank You Very Much.
Back when ford was a household word.
This is super cool 😎 . I would love to have one of these . What is not to love ? I wanna see more of this car , thank you for sharing be safe , I know your gonna have fun .
Perfect. The way God intended it.
Liked the new video good to see this ride again make more please
No power steering like a real man!
As it should be!
What color is that? Ford feather grey from around that time of 47?
Its acutally a 1966 volkswagen color. Beige gray. But its pretty close to the colors that would of been available at that time period
I agree with others comments you have a really nice roaster there. I am currently building a 1930 roadster and have a few questions that maybe you can help me with. I like the stance of your Roadster. Did you have to Z the rear to get it down? What size and brand of rear tires are you running? Thank you
Thanks, i didnt z the rear of the frame. I lowered it by using a 26/27 model t spring, with reversed eye main. And a couple leaves removed the rear tires are firestone deluxe champion 7.00-18
I tried looking on here...but what color is that gray? It reminds me of Ford tractor gray from the 30's-40's. Which would be neat because a hot rodder who might have built a car like this in the 50's-60's would have had access to such a color at the time. So it would be a period correct color so to speak.
The color is actually a vw color from the 60’s. Its called beige gray.
This car is absolutely amazing..... I love it.... It's a bare bones hot rod just like you would see back in the day.... Seeing this car and cars like it is always amazing.... I would take this hot rod over any other modern hot rod... This is how it all started.
Thank you John! Thats how i built it, i wanted something that you could timewarp back to el mirage in 1947 and see running around out there
Exactly how a rod should be!
Outstanding!!!!! Stunning!!!!! Great job Buddy!!!!!!!!
