I was fortunate enough to attend Cornerstone '93. What an amazing experience. I'll never forget it.

When I was doing life in prison in Angola, La., Larry would come get me with permission of the warden and we'd talk of the days back when and he'd have some special projects he was going to do in Angola and he always included me and/or a band I was in at the time.. we recorded a band from nearly every prison in Louisiana for a C.D. he wanted i as pent about 18 hours a day for over a week with Larry, his beautiful wife Peggy and his brother Jeff from North Carolina and we had a good time with the project. He appointed me over the musician aspect of it to be sure each knew what I strument he wanted to use and there was many. My job also entailed making sure each band was ready and to keep it on time after hours was lots of prayer between the 4 of us and all praise, glory and honor being given to who was responsible for letting us do a project of that magnitude in the middle of the biggest prison in the country . GOD allowed it and be successful . I am m home now which is also because of God because I was sentenced to die there but God saw differently. Truly wish Larry and Peggy was alive to see me leave that place.

Only the very first minute and a half of this concert is actual live vocals by Ken Tamplin, the first verse on the first song before the chorus starts. After that they start playing a backing track.

Thank you for posting this!! This was my first Blindside show I ever attended maybe a week after graduating high school. P.O.D., Project 86, and Stavesacre also played and tickets were $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Also, can’t believe the King of the Closet before releasing A Thought Crushed My Mind!! I vividly remember hearing that song on a sampler CD for what it thought was my first time and unwrapping the shrink wrap as quickly as possible 🤯

So sad that Joshua Perahia passed away last week. I worked on many projects with him. In fact, I was the one who got Joshua booked to play at Stryper Expo that year (I was his A&R rep and managed the label he was on at the time, M&K Sound)).The little gal with the white t-shirt and long blonde hair who introduces the band is my daughter! That me talking to singer Jerry Gabriel just moments before they start.
