In A Nutshell YES! but the worse thing was that he registered it with PRS under his real name Ian Hicks. The Investigation is still ongoing with PRS, They told me he could lose his membership which means he wouldn't be able to collect future royalties on any of his own songs.

@ktokolwiek8545 it was 20yrs Ago since See The Light was released, Hixxy registered "I See The Light" 11th Feb 2009

@ktokolwiek8545 He was collecting royalties off "I See The Light" the version he renamed. Any versions called "See The Light" went to us. Very clever just adding "I" and then registering it

@jamesjesssonic Wanna Be Free never had a release. AATW said it didn't have a proper Chorus even though when promo'd it went to No.1 In the Commercial Club Charts. I've just released it on all Digital Platforms Spotify etc. and I've done all the Videos apart from the original See The Light, there will be more to come when I get time..Thanks for the comments 😀

The original Hixxy posted had over 12 million plays, and quite a few million elsewhere. We've got a claim with PRS against him, they will probably merge his version with our version. So I figured if people want to listen to a fake version, we'll claim the royalties anyway 🤣 Thanks for the nice comment, we're out of contract now with the record label so that's why I'm getting all our material online now. 👍

@@ParadiseSeeTheLight haha I love that idea, I guessed afterwards that was why, I hope it works, I love how you made it look like a fan posted video as well with the thumbnail, all capitals and video editing but much better quality.

@jamesjesssonic BTW I agree with your comment about the Scooter version, they should have used the original vocals. It's like the Poundland discount version, but hey Scooter are massive fans of See The Light, they could have ruined Pretty Green Eyes instead 🤣
