Very very good point but you have to adjust sometimes. For example, the person I’ve been going through hell with or for is no longer with us. How do I heal that? I pray , I talk to them. Going to therapy for a year was a huge part in getting over my suicidal thoughts and tendencies. It sucked admitting I needed help and putting my burden or what I felt like, on another person. But it got me where I am today , which is free of wanting to no longer be here.

Real men know that they cannot speak on behalf of others. Real men also dare to express their feelings. Real men understand that the perception of what a "real man" is can differ for everyone.

Therapy is the type of thing a person does to be accountable....because the only person you can control is yourself. This dude readily acknowledges emotional "battles and burdens"....and implicitly, their negative consequences. A real man does what he can about those consequences. Therapy is among those things.

Yeah second on the shittest advice. My best friend, my brother got ended by a ricochet in Al Armagh, Iraq during Telic. I see his mum, dad, sister and they smile and greet me. But deep down I think why him and not me. I have other former brothers either no longer here or so badly injured walking is a faded memory. And I think why them and not me. Survivors guilt is hard to ignore and have people respect you are dealing with it, when they are no longer here to talk with.

I actually agree with this man, it’s when nobody appreciates the what u do for them that u need therapy
