What people must realize is that Kratos is a Greek tragedy character. He's beyond mainstream definition of hero or anti-hero or villain, like most Greek tragedy character he is essentially a tragic character who fall because of his own fatal flaw. The first God of War game already established that Kratos' own ambition for conquest started it all, it wasn't the gods, it was HIM. That's why he spend the entire journey trying to get rid of his guilt and along the way it snowball into hatred for the gods. Also God of War 2 began because Kratos own ambition for conquest again. He sacked Rhodes and small dialogue with Athena early on stated how he pretty much do the same to other gods realm. This is another reason why the Olympians didn't bother when Zeus came and took his godhood. God of War 3 is just the crescendo of the entire thing, insanity.

I'm currently going for my second 100% playthrough, love every minute of this game.

someone once said something I agree with: even though they’re both about a clique of people hanging out in NYC, they’re really not the same type of show…Friends is about caring, tight-knit people navigating through first loves, serious relationships, marriage, etc.; they have camaraderie and support each other through tough times; Seinfeld on the other hand is about terrible people doing terrible things, it just so happens that the terrible stuff they do is really funny, and they never learn from their mistakes; think the rule of the show was no hugging, no learning, etc.; Friends inspires that warm, fuzzy kind of feeling, while Seinfeld, despite how lighthearted it may seem, is actually more of a dark comedy

I’m convinced people love Jak 3 for mostly nostalgia. What does 3 do better than 2? Jak 1 and 2 are 9/10 games easily, and Jak 3 is 4/10 when you consider the awful writing and minigames.

The Jedi Knight games are quake 3 but star wars and I'd love another outcast style game where the weapons play a bigger role than the saber.

I respect the spoiler warning even though it's like 20 years later haha. I played these when they were new. I did feel like Academy had dumbed down saber fighting? It's hard for me to describe why, it's been too long. But I remember not loving the Academy handling of the lightsaber. Although I did enjoy it as a game.

I actually liked Jedi Knight more lol coz of the feels man. I felt like a Jedi going through Katarns arc in Jedi Knight. Outcast was also brilliant but Academy? I think Academy was the best Multiplayer lightsaber game we have ever gotten. These Disney games where you don't have full control of the Sabre feels like a generic 3rd person action rpg. The Katarn saga was different. I liked Outcast better as you basically played Katarn but Academy I liked more for multiplayer. I still have the game installed. I probably should get that movie battles mod and check it out

The should definitely incorporate the Batman fighting mechanics into it, I can see the game really benefit from assassins creed or Batman style fighting but still keeping the concept similar to this. We also can stretch the maps to an open world concept now, in fact a GTA/Batman style LOTR wouldn’t be a horrible idea at all,,

I still remember when I played Jedi Academy for the first time. I hadn't played Jedi Outcast yet, still haven't actually, so Jedi Academy was unlike any game I had played before and I fell in love. It's still my favorite Star Wars game to this very day.

Academy is great. But Outcast has my vote. Kyle Katarn is one of the coolest Star Wars characters lost to the past and I’ve had so much fun revisiting the game over the years. As a kid there was a lot of head scratching trying to figure out how to progress sometimes because of the old school level design. But as an adult I love that it doesn’t hold your hand. My only issue with these games is that they don’t really explain to you how to use the mechanics properly. I learned how to actually fight and block with the lightsaber from RUclips videos lol.

It would be one thing if they sacrificed story for gameplay, but this plays so much worse than any MUA or X-Men game. You constantly take damage from unavoidable attacks, and unlike MUA2 you can't cancel out of other animations by blocking or dodging. The game is a raw DPS check that eventually forces you to grind - where as MUA2 you could skill your way through the harder fights.

Somebody has told you that Jedi Outcast is a sequel, right? To one of those dated FPS games called Dark Forces which was kind of a big deal when your dad was plying video games.

Jedi Academy has the better MP by far. Add JA+ and the FFA was amazing!

Academy is a superior game, but it was overshadowed as a sequel/spin off to the entire Jedi Academy series that fans were long familiar with. We knew Kyle for several games at that point, and Academy had to start from scratch against the legacy of the rest of the series.

Watching this was refreshing...I finished it with my son after playing the 1st 2 games with him so he can experience my era. He loved the 1st ultimate alliance games but this 3rd one was too much for him and I to understand. We beat the game but the grinding, leveling up, iso-8 system burned us out on another playthrough after being a year since we beat it. It was great to play with the cast of characters without needing the dlc like the old ones but it's a handful of characters that actually matter the rest you will get your butt kicked. Awesome video!!

I've finished it on PS4 and enjoyed every bits of it, but now I was thinking of replaying it on PC but I needed someone to remind me and give me a true opinion about the replayability of this awesome game ... u sir just saved me time and money ... I thank you dearly

My only gripe with jedi outcast is that the way some of the levels are designed don't exactly make it clear on where you're supposed to go and can lead to a ton of backtracking and wasting your time trying to figure out where you're supposed to be going and what you're supposed to be doing, which can be really frustrating. You can spend what feels like hours going back and forth through the same hallways and seeing if there's a button you missed.

MUA3 took heavy inspiration from the MCU, but is not like the MCU's been explored that much in terms of videogames. The Avengers game did a mediocre job at that, MvCI was kinda bad, and that's kind of it, so for anyone who wants a decent MCU game, they at least got this. Speaking of aesthetics, wasn't most of MUA1's runtime spent on metal corridors?
