So pleased to find this video - I was there and Ricard made a BIG issue out of not allowing any recording, saying that he would leave the stage if he saw any such thing happening! So a big 'well done' for grabbing this memento - did you get anything more of his performance?

Nice to find this on his birthday July 2nd. This Cherokee musician recorded Hank Williams' Hey Good Lookin' with Shawnee rock legend Link Wray. In 1958 Marvin and Link each had a song banned from the radio. Marvin had Whole Lotta Woman, but Rumble by Link was the only instrumental ever banned. Cool connection!

Best concert I ever went to,absolutely a very good band was Little Richard at casino in Ct. He played song after song with no talk of how he got ripped off, just straight ahead rock and roll for 2 hrs.It was his last tour he didn't want to fly anymore.

In the 80s as a young lad (with a car) my mates and i travelled all over the north and midlands checking out rockin bands. You guys were the best. With respect...forget the famous ones like Cavan, Shakey and the Sunsets, the jets, Deltas, The Polecats. There were 3 that never failed to rock the house. You guys, Colbert Hamilton, and The Riot Rockers. Wildfire Willy from Sweden was awesome too.

omg yay i found u lee its me cindys kid Aaron i still to this day look back at the gigs in places like isleham (with the never ending very steep stairs) and romsey labour club following "session57" and later on "the roverboys" and later "blueprint" then "ramshackle daddies" and i still have the "twist" vinyl i won as a kid from u at isleham and the drumsticks u gave me at the end of the show at a later date ive always looked up to u and u will always be a inspiration to me keep up all the awesome work u do and rock on always general lee
