Photographic slideshow of Jun Kaneko's COLUMNS project. Photos and slideshow by Takashi Hatakeyama. The ceramic columns were created at the Building Products Co. sewer pipe factory in Phoenix, Arizona. From 2015-2016, Kaneko made over seventy 12-foot-tall columns. The columns have since been arranged in several public and private installations.

What is it?
So wonderful to have seen Jun Kennekos work in the Joslyn art museum! It is an honor to have his work in Omaha Nebraska!!
Massive clay sculptures are built in side kiln then after firing and cooling....the sculptures are individually turned up on the side to fit out the doorway on a forklift!
I like the big platter on the Soldner wheel... "I like big batts and I can not lie"
