Rakshasas are different from Asuras. Asuras are as powerful as Devas byt they are inflicted by TAMAS which os darkness, vice. Hence they are A-SURA while Devas are SURA. Yes, Ravan was a Brahmin but that is just a classification for people / beings who have gained immense knowledge and mastered Vedas. But Ravan had darkness residing in his heart and was grappled with vices like extreme ego, pride, anger, lust, hence he was termed an Asura

The nectar of Immortality - Amrit is in Svargaloka and Asuras are in constant battle with Devas to have it for themselves. Check the story of SAMUDRA MANTHAN where the AMRIT emerged for the first time and was given to the Devas, but Asuras tried to steal it. The conflict has ever since continued

Please don’t speak in English because English is very very shallow to actually catch and describe our words of Sanskrit or any other language of Bharat
What about people from the South India or people from the North East, where sanskrit or any common Sanskrit derived Indian language is not understood? I think though Sanskrit is a superior language, but unfortunately for wider spread of Sanatan Dharm English is a must. Even Muslims are preaching their religion in English in the Europe and Americas. So let's not delve into such silly issues of language rather should focus on medium of spreading this beautiful Dharm to maximum people on this planet.
