Like this one better than the album they released a year or so ago. Like this one a lot and plan on adding it on cd. Have they’re debut Annihilation reissue that includes an ep with Rise Above by Black Flag

The artwork on I believe all of they’re albums is Ed Repka who has a lot of album covers on his resume

The lead guitarist is also from Speed Metal Legends Agent Steel who have two full length and an ep from the eighties. A lot of UFO conspiracies

I mostly liked your review of mANTtras. The lead singers name is Dryden Mitchell. Drys voice is fantastic. His voice sounds the same in studio and live. They are all great musicians! I think their sound has matured in a definite good way. I don't know if you remember the tour bus accident. Unfortunately Dryden broke his neck and the bus driver was killed. That contributed to why it seems like they were "gone" I think you would like the video for, "Everything She Wants" There are lots of cameos. I'm a little surprised you didn't realize that was originally sung by WHAM! The boys certainly did it justice. Don't you think?

Letter to Ashley has been out for 3 years. Tommy face is 2 years old. Blink 182 and red light kisser were both realleased 6 months apart.

also, it is weird hearing people refer to them as pop/emo punk nowadays. 20 years ago they were more known as the band that made hardcore fun.

I can help you out a little here, Hot Water Music has 3 main singers. 2 of them are original members - Chuck and Chris W. who both have the gruff growly vocals. The 3rd is Chris C. who is also in the Flatliners. He has the cleaner vocals but also does a growly/scratchy voice. As far as named guests...None get a featured vocal solo and are basically just adding background vocals and additional instruments.

Those distorted vocals aren't vocals. It's a device called a talk box that you plug your guitar into and it has a tube that runs into your mouth that allows for the distinct sound. Think like putting your phone speaker up to your mouth while sound is playing and opening and closing your mouth, similar concept P. S. if you don't like this album you'd absolutely despise their last one "2020"

Cd came in the mail today. A solid 8/10 album if not a bit higher. I love all Evildead albums and I rate Toxic Grace a bit higher than the band's previous album United States Of Anarchy which I also love. My biggest complaint about that album was the production and from listening to the new album that issue was fixed. Oh and anyone who doesn't like Phil's vocals on the new album were never an Evildead fan to begin with. His vocals sound the same to me on every Evildead album. The only song on Toxic Grace that vocally took some time and a few listens for me to get into was Subjugated Souls.

I agree the first verse style with full bass on HIFI (True Light) was so good and I wanted it repeated. I also really liked "Out Lout" as the melody and production are beautiful Here are my song ranking: I love the album, all tracks are good. 1. Silent Picture 2. Ball And Chain 3. Best AAF album yet

WITH BANDS OF GREATER DEPTH LIKE PEARL JAM NEED GOOD SOLOS, NOT ONLY TO ENHANCE THE MUSICAL ASPECT, BUT THAT THE LISTER HAS A MOMENT IN THE SONG TO CONSIDER IT'S MEANING. YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT THE BAND SHRIEKBACK THIS BIG HUSH.

Waiting for Stevie is more closer to Yield (In Hiding) than to Ten

Of the tracks I liked the most were, in order: 1. Upper Hand - a track that is not in a hurry, is slow and shows that the band knows how to survive in the midst of everything fast-paced nowadays. It's my style. 2. Setting Sun - music full of love and hope 3. React, Respond - what a great introduction. Excellent chemistry from Jeff Ament and Matt Cameron. And Eddie Vedder just needs to push. 4. Got To Give. - gives me the same feeling as In Hiding, full of incredible verses. 5. Dark Matter - this is really the song that will stay in my memory the most. 6. Waiting For Stevie - Incredible rhythm, but it lacked more daring as it could have been even better, for example at the end there is an incredible solo, but I believe that Eddie's voice didn't fit well at the end.

I suddenly got your review, and I liked the feel of each song, even though I compared it a lot to Ten, which is always the band's biggest reference. When you listen to the albums after Ten, in sequence, you will be amazed at how this band manages to be concise and loyal to their style and still allow themselves to be bold, even if they don't always get it right. It's part of it. The album No Code is precious to me, because it is philosophical and avoids the grunge style that could pigeonhole the band too much. And Yield is the greatest representation of a band that can do anything without strings attached.

Ten is a masterpiece, but I think Vs is a better album..No Code, Vitalogy and Yield have a few good tracks. The new Album is a 7.5-8 range

Wow, if you liked those albums you have a heap of awesome albums to discover! VS, Vitalogy and Yield will be right up your alley I think!

New to the channel! With Green Day being my favorite band, I was a bit biased with my review but I finally posted it and I throughly enjoyed this review, always a great day when I get to hear someone talk about my favorite band lol. Keep making videos, I’ll definitely watch, you earned yourself a sub! 84% for me!

I loved the album, not only were the fast songs good but I enjoyed the slower songs too, my favorite tracks are 1981, Strange Days, Dilemma, look ma no brains, Goodnight Adeline and fancy sauce( the lyrics in Fancy Sauce were wild)

The first half is best imo.
