Seiko 7T32-7G30 Full Service & Case Refurbishment, Part 1
Просмотров 11 тыс.6 лет назад
The Seiko 7T32-7G30 Daytona is one of the classic and much sought after Seiko chronographs. This Seiko chronograph did not have too many problems, actually less wear and tear than one would normally expect from a chronograph watch of its age. The rotating bezel was slightly stiff to turn, there were a few small scratches on the crystal, case and bracelet. I could have left these but decided to ...
Tissot P372/472-1 Service and repair
Просмотров 3,6 тыс.7 лет назад
The Tissot 372/472-1 is built around the ETA 251.272 chronograph quartz watch movement. This ETA calibre is also used in other top end watches of distinction such as Eterna, Hamilton, Tag Heuer, Omega and many more. It's a top of the range calibre watch movement I acquired this watch and it was in desperate need of a full service. The replaced battery was running down after only nine months' to...
Seiko 7T32-7C60 Full Service and Repair
Просмотров 7 тыс.7 лет назад
Another Seiko watch fully serviced and repaired. This is the Seiko 7T32-7C60. I gave this watch a pre service check and found a date change malfunction. The quick set date change worked fine, but the normal change mode failed. This pointed to the hour and date wheels, there was a chance that the teeth on the hour wheel were faulty, or the date change wheel was faulty. After a complete service a...
Seiko 7T32-7G30 Yellow Daytona Full Service and Repair
Просмотров 2,7 тыс.7 лет назад
I acquired this Seiko 7T32 7G30 Yellow Daytona in a non operating condition. The rotating bezel was jammed, as was one of the pushers. It had never been serviced and therefore had some chronograph function issues I needed to address. It was made in December 1990. I completely stripped the movement and case down to their component parts and gave all a complete clean, reassembled all and lubricat...
Seiko 7T92-0BR0 Chronograph with 12 HR stopwatch and 1/20 second timer
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.7 лет назад
Seiko 7T92-0BR0 Chronograph watch. This is a beautiful Seiko timepiece and has the 7T92 movement. When the stopwatch function operates, the small 1/20 split second sub dial hand whizzes around once every second. The stopwatch second hand records each minute to the 12 hour recording sub dial. Very nice indeed. This model was made in 4 versions. This one has the very nice black dial and is very n...
Seiko 7T32 6N10 Full Service and Repair
Просмотров 77 тыс.7 лет назад
This is a Seiko 7T32-6N10 slide rule chronograph watch. The movement is the timely classic Seiko 7T32B movement. When received, the rotating bezel spacer was missing, the alarm pusher was jammed in the 'in' position and it did not work. On close inspection of the movement I found it needed a complete service, most probably it had never been serviced at all since manufactured in 1992. Many quart...
I have the same watch with blue dial…stuck pusher and broken crown..
Hi Paul, do you know where I can buy a Seiko 7T32 module . Thanks
Mr. Paul, how did you clean the plastic gears and the rest of the movement?
I have this one bought new in 1999 iirc. My favourite as it has sentimental value on top of it being a handsome watch. Have 4 other 7t32 equipped Seikos.
Great job. Hope to tackle my 7T32 as soon as the tools arrive.
Thanks for your video. I am a novice at this but have one plastic gear broken so unable to set time. Is there any chinese aftermarket for these movements since I can't seem to find 7T32b anywhere except taking chance and purchasing donor in hopes that I can find the gear in good condition?
It helps
Hi Paul, do you take in customer watches and whereabouts in the world are you?
Lovely detailed video, however your hands are far steadier than mine, so not feeling too inspired to get stuck into my own 7t32 unfortunately! Do you do services on customer watches?
Today, I was buy on Ebay, new, old stock. Beautiful watch💙
Hello, do you know the bezel insert size for this model? Thanks for the vid!
Would be nice if you showed more of the process. Like completely stripping down the watch parts and gears, how you get the arms off, how you clean the parts, etc. Something a lot more than just a title card across the screen of what you did off-camera
Any idea why the second hand would stop when using the stopwatch function? I have a similar seiko and this is happening
No protection on your fingers, complete amateur.
Hi Paul, I’m troubleshooting my 7T32b and found that my issue reside with one broken train wheel bridge pin and one broken dial guard pin. Is the only way to replace these through a donor movement or is there an aftermarket seller for these? Great job on the video by the way
Theres a guy on eBay selling the movement for about 120$ usd, worth it if you lvoe the watch
Place service in Indonesia
What's the use of subdial at 6 o clock?
Minutes and hours on the chronograph function
where has part 2 gone?
where is part 2? can only see part 3
Paul I have basically the same watch from 1991. Bought it for myself for my 21st birthday. It’s been 20 years since it’s had a tune up. Buttons stick kinda like this one. Is this something I can have you do for me??
Hello! Can you help with the following problem, please? I noticed in the manual that you are supposed to do an IC reset by pressing the A and B buttons. I did that and since then the button A when pressed makes a weird beeping sound. If I press it several times then the chronograph starts to work. When pressed a second time it beeps and it resets. And all these after the IC reset. I tried to reset the IC again and again but the problem persists. Any ideas on how to solve the issue. Thank you.
I have a 7T32B. I'm getting time and chrono functions but the alarm chimes but can not be set. Any advice would be appreciated.
Paul do you still repair watches?
what work - he showed nothing of any significance and interest...
what's the point - by bob paul, sid whatecver
hello please explain, the same clock I have an alarm does not work, no sound is heard, can the fault be resolved thank you
Hi how is this watch powered, is it by battery or kinetic?
Dear sir, would you repair my seiko SNA225?
Hola paul, hablas español? Tengo un daitona como este y necesito ayuda
Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie.
How did you remove the crown ?
Like others said, not showing how to remove the stems makes the video useless.
Hey, lovely work, I have a SEIKO SPORT 200 M can you work on it / how much would you charge to work on it?
2:44 - YOU MOVED THE DATE WHILE THE TIME IS 22:55 HOLY SHIT!!!! Let me explain quickly why this man just broke this watch: The date is set to switch to the next one once every 24 hours after the watch shows 00:00 If you want to set the date, you put the time at 06:00!!!!!! Watches automatically start to build pressure when the times becomes 21:00, in this case when the watch reaches 00:00 all the pressure is released and the date jumps to the next one. IF YOU SET THE DATE DURING THIS PERIOD, meaning you move manually the date while the pressure is built, the little wheels inside get FUCKED. This man just did that, he *fucked* the wheels inside the watch. Now to see if the date will switch automatically with the watch at least one time for 24 hours..... >>> 03:06 <<< The man forwards the time, passing the 12 mark TWICE meaning 24 hours just passed for the watch and the date DID NOT SWITCH. We just witnessed this guy ruin his date complication on this watch IN THIS VERY VIDEO. Take notes on this, whenever you set the date by yourself, SET THE DAMN TIME TO 06:00 and only then proceed, if you don't do it your watch is done for.
What's up friend? I am using a translator. I hope you can help me a little, I bought this same watch but in another more elegant and more beautiful model, unfortunately the hour hand does not respond, the rest still works very well. I took it to the watchmaker and he tells me that he has to change the entire interior mechanism for a new one, this is true. I have already downloaded the manual from the internet on how to use the seiko 7t32-7c60 in Spanish. Can you tell me something I don't know, I see that you say that to change the date directly you must always put the time first at 6 o'clock, so that the mechanism is not damaged. I will take it to repair, although I bought it without working it does not matter I liked it a lot. You would know what mechanism or motor should be put to work again, which would be the best and most reliable machine. I hope you can help me I see that you know about this. Greetings from Monterrey Nuevo Leon. México
@@JavierHernandez-gq8gu Hi, although I know how to set the date of a watch correctly, I cannot help you with what you ask because I'm not a watch repairmen, but I can tell you this - if you have a problem with the watch, seek out one of the best watch service centers, use google or even join a watch facebook group and ask for information there. Replacing the 7t32 mechanism with another different mechanism while keeping the watch face will be difficult because the face of the watch is specially created for this mechanism, which has a DATE, chronograph and an alarm which also functions as a second time zone watch, also the mechanism is small so the watch may not be able to fit another mechanism inside. Your best option would be to find the exact same mechanism and replace it which would be difficult because 7t32 stopped being manufactured years ago. Either try to find a watch with the same mechanism on the second hand market or search for an expert watch repairman in your city or country which can fix what's broken. Cheers!
Full serviced and repair ??
Paul Stuart Watch Repairs You are a Idiot, how did you remove the stem
Отличная работа!
Hi Paul! My grandfather gave me his 7T32 Titanium, becaus he got himself a new watch. He told me that his old one wasnt functioning anymore, but I want to give it a try. I put in a new Battery and surprisingly the watch started to run again. But when I press start button for the Chronogrph the whole watch stops until I short Ac and +. This happens every time. Do you have any suggestions how I can fix this problem? I really want to keep this watch running! :)
Not much "service and/or repair" in this video. Not even a little cleaning.
Not exactly a "how to " video then,
Hi Paul... awesome work... i have basically the same watch will i bought in 1992. It works well but the C pusher is stuck and the alarm makes a very faint noise. Could you fix? Can i have your info?
👏Fabulous work, congratulations, greetings from Chile..🇨🇱
Just bought this same model, wears absolutely beautifully on the wrist, extremely classy watch, never had a chronograph before and enjoyed your demonstration on how it works, thanks!!
Where can I find a list of movements that can replace and fit from a Seiko watch from 1990 stamped 5T52-6A39? Also need a source for part numbers for gaskets and crystal. Thanks
He removes a 927 battery and replaces it with a 399 surely wrong!
William Calder SR927W & 399 are one and the same battery. The SW one he removed is not the correct one according to Seiko manuals. Different companies use different model numbers. Same as when you buy AA, AAA, C and D Cell batteries for home appliances.
In the battery compartment, what is the orange tab?. That orange tab insulates some circuit. Does the circuit have contact with the battery face or with the battery contact forks?
I have it since buying it as a new watch for many years ago 7T32-6N10. Black bezel spacer was clacked and removed some years ago. So long times sleep in my desk. but last week I went to repair shop for change new battery and case back seal. It cost 800yen in japan. All second needle ajust right and move all OK. but I can not solve just losing the bezel spacer. Please tell me how to make spacer and how to install it. Than you.
The black spacer is purely cosmetic. They are obsolete but can be made by hand. Actually, there are 2 spacers, the black one and a thin clear shim the rotating bezel rests on. To make a new one requires machining or cutting one out of black plastic by hand, after taking accurate measurements. The bezel has to be removed first with great care and the correct tools. If you try to prise it off using a knife or screwdriver, there's a high chance of destroying it. It has to be uniformly lifted off.
Hi paul I have have all four models Blue white black & yellow face how much are they worth you reckon Thanks
How did you remove the stem! The only important part and you friggin skipped it!! Wtf...
His meal ticket.
He obviously not going to tell you,so I will. If you look carefully where the winding stem enters the works there is a very small " push" and an arrow pointing to a hole. Carefully push down in here and the winding stem can be withdrawn from the watch. A small screwdriver is fine and a loupe will make things easier to see. Good luck and go carefully.
@@andrewwilson8317 Thanks mate. It does work for me. Money saved. Much appreciate. 👍
Drop the stupid music
The only one that showed the 2 screws to remove cover to replace battery. Thank you
Hi, I have this watch but the black gasket for the rotating bezel has been broken off / disintegrated (i.e. missing its rotating bezel plastic space...just like the one in your video). Just wondering if you have the replacement part? Thanks!
As fare as I recall, they're obsolete. I made the replacement one shown in the video by hand. The rotating bezel has to be removed for it to be replaced though.
