Rear view mirror lift mod for 3rd gen Tacoma
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.Год назад
In this video I walk through what I did to make the rear view mirror on a 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma work for people that don’t like it in their field of view and to make life a bit more comfortable for tall people.
Are there any problems so far?? I am in the market for one
Nothing, still extremely happy with it. The only thing I’m looking to do is change out the tires.
As long as you dont have to climb anything more challenging than an ant hill, they are great...lol. Got my kid one and everything is awesome... except the dog s#$t drive system that allows for no bottom end torque. Oh sure you can get different sprokets but then you are bouncing off the rev limiter at 20 km/ Hr... I bought a Chinese Lifan 125 cc with a 3 speed gear box and reverse. It is bolt in but not sure if the fuel injection will work...
Thanks for the video. I will get myself a pair.!!
Where did you get the seats belt
Amazon, I just put in golf cart seat belts.
How about bump seat
Any issues with charging. I have a 2021. Replaced the battery but it goes dead after about an hour driving. Not charging for some reason????
Rectifier plugs might have corrosions . Happened to mine.
I have not had any charging issues, I do remember a recall for the winch always having power, possibly that is it?
I went to see an ATV today the salesman said Yamaha is way better I asked him how long is the warranty? He said oh 6 month lol the CF MOTO is 5 years lol I’d be stupid if I didn’t buy the cf moto
aint a polaris or a canam
those doors look like crap
It’s been a year, are you still happy with buying the cf moto uforce 600? Any issues or regrets? Follow up video 1 year update?
That sounds like a great idea. Things have been crazy this year and I have been struggling to find time to post videos. To answer your question yes we are still very happy with it. We are talking about selling it only for the reason of we had another kid and are now looking for a 4 seater so everyone can ride but we also like it so much we are having a hard time thinking of getting rid of it
@@SixFiveReviews Are y’all looking into the cf moto 4 seater or a different brand?
Pretty set on sticking with the cfmoto. We also bought a tractor so it need for a utility is not as high now so looking possibly at the sport model just have not had a chance to go drive them yet.
there’s a cap covering my rearview mirror cable and i can’t get it off. any suggestions?
Sorry, I sold the truck so I can’t run out and verify. I do remember it being a sliding 2 piece of plastic. It should lap over itself to push up to the head liner.
Wtf 450miles for 3 years? I have it 3 weeks and i already have 900km.. Do you buy it for garage or to ride? 😬😃
Haha we use it mainly on our 5 acres to chase around our son on his quad
Ive had mine 2 1/2 years with 3500km and no problems
good drive!!!
EXCELLENT video - Thanks for sharing!! I owned a ZForce 800 for about 4 years and had a lot of fun with it trail riding, etc. but because I was also using it for "work" around the house, I decided the UForce would more suit my needs. I recently bought a 2024 UForce 600, for most all of the same reasons you mentioned and for the most part have been VERY pleased with its performance. In addition to what you mentioned about the transmission getting "stuck" in gear (a real PIA), I also have a problem with the "senitivity" of the vehicle's accelleration when you are starting off and just want to move a short distance - you have to be very careful when you step on the gas pedal so it doesn't "leap" a couple of feet. You just need to be aware of those couple issies and adjust for them accordingly. One thing I haven't done yet is see how well the UForce 6009 climbs and performs compared to my ZForce 800 which I often put through its paces. Have you had any experience with rock or hill climbing with your UForce 600, and do you think id has enough power and stability to attempt those things? Thanks, and keep up the great videos!
I have not done a big hill climb yet. I’ve gone through some really steep ditch crossings but nothing that was a consistent climb. Stability I have not found any issues with but the climb I’m not sure. I have not found a “need” for more power, just a want. Let me know what you find. Thank you.
Legitimate question do you consider 450 me enough to base a recommendation on? I had a 2000 rancher that had $8,000 mi on it and when I sold it in 2021 810 it did not leak a drop of oil ran like a top then again I use only Honda oil and had the valves adjusted on a regular basis
Depends on what you are using it for, my neighbor has the 500 and can do all the same yard work type stuff as me without an issue. His top speed is also the same as mine. The only spot mine shines over his is the out of the hole power but if you are using for work I don’t think it would be a problem. Looking for play I would buy up
These things still scare the hell out of me will someone who has ridden Hondas all his life the reliability and the resale is ridiculous you get a lot of your money back if you trade in every 3 years like I do I've heard they have courts problems and people upgrade to me that is almost sounds hysterical on a new machine did you upgrade your clutch? I buy my Honda with a 4th shifter and a solid rear axle I like that they are shaft driven no belts
If shaft drive and solid axel is what you like then I would say stick with the Honda. I too prefer a gear box and the ability to shift but I have adapted to having the belt. It is very responsive and fun to go out and play. I have also bought a small tractor that has pretty much released the quad of all work aside from the lawn roller at this point. Best bet is to go drive them and see if you enjoy independent rear suspension and belt drive.
Thank you so much. I was at Toyota today doing my first service and I asked him about the mirror if we could move it up they said no they said it would affect the collision avoidance systems. If I move the mirror up that would have to be recalibrated he said, I didn’t believe him, will see thank you for the video. I will try it because I feel it’s more important to see a pedestrian in the sidewalk before I run them over then the computer telling me to stop when I’m too close to car or change lanes without my blinker.
Glad I could help, nothing changed with mine. All the pre collision and adaptive cruise control worked properly
Great review! As soon as my old Rhino 450 sells ; I'm buying the u force 600. Can't wait.
Esse carrinho é melhor que camionete 4x4 .. Para trabalhar em fazendas
I have had my 520 for almost 6 years now and I still love it. Have been looking into getting 2024 Cforce 625 since they have improved a lot with it. It is really easy to change the winch wire for syntetic rope, it is done in like 15 minutes. Way easier to work on than can-am.
What years your Kids?
2023. That’s the next thing to do a review on I just haven’t had a chance. He’s got 100 miles on it now
Only thing I hate about these things are ....they are made in China!! I hate the idea of giving them this much money. Having said that I still had a cousin look at these to see if its something he could afford. Anything to get peeps on the trail with me LMFAO!!!
Agreed it was a hard one for me to give in to. The problem is they are pretty much all made in china and assembled in the US
Well I had a thousand miles and three months on line
Reliability on it?
No problems so far, I have only had this one for a year now. It is the same drive train as the quad we have had for almost 4 years now and that machine has been great to us
We want to get one of these but wondering if we can service it or does it have to be a mechanic for the 20 hour first service? Enjoyed your video.
Service is very easy on it, everything is accessible from under the dump bed
Got. Cforce 500, wouldn’t swap it for any name brand atv. It was less expensive than any of the name brand machines and had more options!
Where are the brake lever(s)?
Thanks for the review looking into a atv had a utv.
Cf moto 110cc 10+ not6+
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow finally an affordable mod lol, Can’t wait to try it!
worked great used a little figer nail polish to kill up the edges. Thanks alot!
Awesome! Glad it helped
Does it rip up your yard when you make turns or does it have an open rear differential?
No it has a open dif when in 2wd
I have a 2022 Uforce 600 it has 1468 miles on it it is a great machine. The clutching on it was terrible from the factory reclocked the secondary to b2 put 16 gram weights in the primary with a 200/600 spring and 27x9x12 tires all the way around. Its perfect now and also a 2 inch lift kit now has 14 1/2 ground clearance. Also a UNI filter before I ever rode it the factory filters let in dust and removed the rear sway bar. I am hoping it will live as long as my Pioneer 700 deluxe is because it has just under 20k on it and not one issue with it. Time will tell.
Great information I just jotted all this down I would like for the clutches to be a bit smoother. Thank you!
Just wait until drive a 2023 cforce 600 with all the new improvements. A totally different animal and much better machine.
I was tempted to sell mine and get the new model. We got the 110 for my son first so in the near future I might be looking at one
I have a 2023 600. I love it. Best thing ever. Just put on skids and Kenda Mastodon AT tires.
Like your doors
I have been doing research for 2 months every day trying to decide what to get. Ive gone from thinkin a Polaris 570 full size, Kawasaki Mule, golf carts, everything else you can think of around the 10k range. This video has helped me tremendously. Thank you.
You are welcome I am glad I could help!
Very good review. Not sure what market you think is interested in a unit like this but I am willing to bet they don’t listen to that gay ass music . That probably should be in a review on Barbie,s battery powered pink hummer.
There is a very small amount of sound clips you can choose from when editing that won’t wind you up in court or paying the artist for every view
A machine (or any product) made by the Chinese Communist Party? No thanks. We in the West should decide to stop choosing the cheapest purchasing options and to stop supporting the CCP. So please, for sake of our future and our children's futures, please stop buying Chinese products. The democracies of the world cannot fall prey to unfair trade practices by low-cost, communist-led countries such as China only to then fall prey to their eventually superior military power. We just need to think bigger than who sells the cheapest products.
That is a fair point, the problem is non of the brands are American companies. You have the option of land master and intimidator both of those did not meet what I was looking for. Just because it’s a big name brand does not mean that the money or work is here. I have found that even the last few big 3 vehicles I owned were made in different countries.
I agree that it would be ideal if there were American brands from which to choose. However, the next best thing is to support an Ally. IMHO, supporting the Chinese Communist Party is the very last option or just going without. Mark my words, friend, we are going to have a great deal of trouble with China in the future. The issue with China is not the competition. The issue with China is that it is a communist dictatorship that competes unfairly with low labor rates, currency manipulation, and government-funded predatory market manipulation and China wants nothing more to displace the US as the world's hegemon. I have worked in Beijing in the past and I can tell you it is a dystopian nightmare completely unacceptable to the westerner. Westerners may not yet fully understand this, but they do not want to live in a world dominated by communist China. The grand experiment beginning in the '70's and '80's to grow Chinese wealth in hopes that they would eventually develop a thriving middle class that would demand democratization has utterly failed and it always will (the will to democratize must always come from within). Like in Russia, North Korea, and Iran, the people there live in so much fear of their ruthless governments that they choose to do nothing about the tyranny. We in the so-called "Collective West" as they like to refer to us simply cannot continue to support the dictatorships I mentioned with our dollars. We do so at our own peril. Buying a single CFMoto is a small mistake. Letting communist-made product sales damage Japanese and European sales, well, that's another story. Please consider what people are doing when they go into a dealership and buy a CFMoto product. They are benefitting an enemy communist power hell-bent on our demise while simultaneously damaging a democratic ally. We in the West had better wise up very quickly. What kind of world do we want to live in? Ride safe, but ride smart friend.
Bought the 850 and have been plowing old fields with horse equipment, pulling small trailers with wood and alot more. Could not be more satisfied with it. Granted, I baby it other than with the field plowing and trailer pulling and dragging trees around. Well. Ok, I don't baby it when reading what I am writing, but I am careful when I work. That said, have not had an issue. Love it. Love it!
Ours gets some similar use with doing food plots the one big value I found is I can take everything with and have a work space when I’m in the middle of not where just by dropping the tail gate
I bought my 600 in March for working around my place and hunting I am very pleased with mine. I bought the windshield and snowplow for mine and I plan on the half doors and rear window
Get the back windows, that was a huge improvement to blocking out the wind and dirt from the bed. Also cut the noise way down
I have a 2023 600 1up. Love it. Just ripped in RI yesterday. So fun. So much power and agility it’s crazy!!!
I’m 6 ft 4 hahah😊
🤣 and yes the amount of power and maneuverability the machine has was way more then I expected
As of 11/1/2023 cfmoto now sell factory half doors but I don’t know if their as good as the ones you currently have.
Have you installed turn signals and horn please? I have the same machine as you👍
I have not, thought about doing it to register it but we have a bunch of dirt roads that connect to ours that we ride on.
It has cvt trans wirh no downhill descent assist? If so, how do you go down very steep hills slowly without freewheeling too fast
Low gear will wind very hard to keep it slow
My gf has the 2021 touring extremely slow the speedometer is wrong by 5mph when tested with gps going 40mph sounds like it wants to blow up recently it started leaking oil plus struggling to go up inclined roads
I own a 21 model uforce 600 for 3 years now, 2500 miles in south east Arkansas and never had a problem, I bought the camo model, came with front and rear windshields, over the 3 years I've added the front and rear bumper, the radio, and half doors like the ones you got from MSC, loved my machine and almost half the price of a 570 ranger with same equipment
Too noisy
Can you do a video on how you hooked up that 3rd seat belt? That’s the only thing holding me back from buying one as I have a young kid and need the third seat. I see the latch attached to the passenger side one but where do you put the belt?
I just shared the bolts with both driver and passenger latch points. I ordered golf cart seat belts so it comes with at full canister. I will post a shirt in just a bit to show you
Video should be loaded showing it now. I hope this helps
You are so right, rear view mirrors are weirdly low in modern cars, its a hazzard.
Great review! Thanks!
