I just kinda started playing one at a friends house and didnt stop,, u can usually get a good second hand bass for not too much money (thats how i got that bass(if u learn how to fix them and set them up u can even get really cheap ones or broken ones to fix and play, ive done that a few times with guitars and basses) i think ive been playing for about 7 years now and still learning new stuff every day :)) but i was also playing live after about 2 weeks of jamming lol! as long as ur motivated it shouldnt take too long to start playing music, but its all about how much u put into it is what ull get out :)) bass was my first instrument and i love it! defiantly give it a go u will not regret it!!

theres no bass in the actual song so i just kinda played the route notes and improvised for the last little bit, but if u look up the tab for the guitar part then its pretty simple to figure out :))

To my knowledge its a hofner HCT-185, although in photos of that the pickups are different, but this is second hand so good chance the previous owner had changed stuff, haven't looked under the hood to check yet cause never hand to fix anything lmao hope this helps :)
