I once found a downed Avenger and the pieces left of her. That massive landing strut was about all I could do to stand it vertically for a photo. A GM built model from Trenton New Jersey. Beautiful model shown here.

Przymierzam się do zrobienia. Kupiłem też VIII dual combo. Wszędzie chwalą, tylko jeden Angol zjechał że nie da się zrobić zgodnie z instrukcją i że dużo szpar jest

The cockpit for the pilot must be Dull Dark Green untill December 1942, then cockpit green when Grumman will be out of stock of Dull Dark Green, maybe February or March 1943.

it's a very heavy model - the fit of the elements is bad - you'll have to putty a lot.

Don't buy Bandai 1/144 millenium falcon kit. The canopy clear part has CRACK!!! So many modellers suffer that problem.

The front forks on this model are worse than bad...!! And the fact you need to buy new forks on a model at this price is not on ...!! and don't follow the plans don't put the discs on the wheels first as I ruined my perfect spray job on my wheels trying to fit them in a horrendous design....

How did you paint the cockpit? 😦
before gluing the elements I painted with a brush - when everything was dry I glued the cockpit
The instructions on this kit looks like they were drawn with a felt tip marker by someone with an I.Q. of 70. Be advised - check your fits - especially the turret diagram is awful. Landing gear were better than most however. And there is a lot of great detail on this kit.

That's a nice kit. The detail is superb. I have this bunker hill version but I think it's going to become part of Flight 19 lost in the Bermuda Triangle. I'm fortunate to have three Accurate Miniatures of Flight 19 squadron models and decals to do all five Aircraft. Nice job on the painting of this model by the way. Good reference for painting interior.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
