thank you so much for the review I was super exited to buy a sprayer from another dealer until I saw this review, #reviewsmater,Stay bless.
Same thing happened to my Hollys. It took about a year but they got back to normal
May we have a parts list with ID? Amazon links would be great! Where are you? Thanks for the video. Mike
Thank you for your time and review. Really appreciated and well reviewed..Love the Stihl quality and design..👍🏴
That is a perfect misting system. It will make all the difference with your cuttings. Your success rate will go way up. :)
What type of soil do you use?
I use 60% mulch, 30% peat, 10% perlite. That seems to work for me. The mulch is high quality from a local distributor. I show how I make the potting soil in another video. Thanks!
7:22 minutes in you see the worm?
Wow just noticed that!
👍
This is great

This is very interesting. I've never seen cuttings placed directly in garden soil, until now. You got some great results! Did you just water with a basic watering system on a timer?
For this group I just watered daily with garden hose.
Who won?
You really should have some ballast weight on the back of your tractor.
Note taken. Typically I have my tiller attached but took it off. One reason is to be able to maneuver better. That is one downside versus a skid steer is maneuverability. Safety if #1
I have a Stihl BR 700 and push a wide path of leaves and even wet leaves I blow them up and it cranks on the 3rd pull every time
I love this blower. Has been a great tool to keep the property free of debris. Stihl is the best.
That’s a big task with that 3r (not hating, I’m a huge green fan.) it can do it, they’re amazing machines, it’ll take a while though.
Thanks for the comment. You are correct but I have time on this one. Enjoying every minute! This thing moves dirt around good for my needs around here. However, it will need a bath when it’s done here.
nice job! what did you use to stain em?
Thank you for the comment. The stain I used and will use soon to do an additional coat is Cabot Wood Toned Stain+Sealer Cedar
So you pot up last years cutting now, then this years cuttings go under mist till mid summer, then let them go till next spring and start the process over again?
The ideal time to pull up and pot will be February. I stick cuttings starting in April for these. So they are in the ground from April until February. And yes this process will be repeated year after year.
Thanks. Might be late June for me. I'm in zone 5 @@hillishouse9882
Thank you for commenting. Great point about the zone. You would have to wait later into the year to stick cuttings. I’ll point the plant zones out in future videos.
@dirkhagar2399 sounds like he's doing hardwood cuttings in April when plants start to wake up. Late June would be semi hardwood. You can do them at any time provided you choose the right stage of growth according to time of year.
Nice set up you have there. Is you shade structure in full sun and what % shade cloth are you using?
Hi yes the structure is in full most of the day. The shade cloth is 70-80% block.
How far will it spray, assuming you adjust the nozzle to a narrow stream? How much does it weigh with the battery, and which battery are you using? Thank you.
Please be more specific about the Stihl sprayer. What's the battery Ah rating, what does the manu
I need this sprayer. How can I get it? I live in Abuja, Nigeria. Can you please send me your email address so I can contact you or does Stihl representative in Nigeria stock it?
THIS VODEO IS ONE OF THE WORST REALLY SUCK AND DOES HILLIS HOUSE👎👎👎👎🖕🖕🖕😖😖

Is it true that stihl blowers have a winter mod
Yes
Who cares what it looks like? The real test is how it sprays?
Always enjoy the videos 👍🤠
Appreciate that!! Thank you for watching!
BTW, what's the price tag on the Stihl SGA 85 sprayer?
MSRP is $379.00 for the sprayer only. I had to get the battery/charger separately.
Is the tip that comes with it adjustable by rotating it to enable fine vs coarse adjustment “on the fly”? Sometimes I need to spray near and far on a single tank. Also do you know if Stihl have longer wands available?
Yes the brass nozzle is adjustable to fit your needs. I don’t think a longer wand is available from Stihl for this sprayer.
I agree 100%. I look forward to showing more videos soon. Thank you for subscribing and I’ll keep you updated.
Great video ! 🌿😊🌿 Plants are the best, specially the people behind them 🌿🤩🌿 You got a new sub from Denmark 🌿😊🇩🇰😊
Yes Stihl does offer other tips for this sprayer. Purchased separately. I have not added any of these tips as of yet. You are correct and wider spray pattern will be needed at times.
Does it have other tips too? The spray pattern seems narrow.
Do think a 60d mower deck would work just fine on this JD 3039r? I currently have a JD1025r but am thinking about getting horses and want to get a JD3039r for horse duty…haying (small operation)and lifting hay bales etc however I currently have a 60d for the 1025r and just wanted to know if the 60d could be used by the 3039r as well?
There is a 60 inch mower deck available for the 3R series but the one that goes on the 1025R won’t work because the brackets and attachment systems are much different
@@chasetemple3129 Thank you that is good to know.
Was this with the stripe kit installed?
It was not. I will be adding one soon. Those stripes were made with my 950m. Thanks for asking.
I wonder how this compares to the strongest echo blower.
I have owned smaller echo blowers. I believe the Echo 9010 is the lager Echo blower. I know this, Stihl is hands down the most reliable, and is a very powerful piece of equipment. This Stihl Blower is a beast.
Power and air volume wise the 800 is not comparable to the 9010 but is a great blower. The 800 blows a small path into a pile of leaves. The 9010 picks up the same pile and throws the whole thing. The 800 is lighter and a little more comfy though.
@@hillishouse9882 Stihls 4 mix engine has 16 internal moving parts. The Echo 2 stroke has 2 parts. That's 14 more moving engine parts to worry about failing. I would say a 2 stroke is more reliable. Stihl 4 mix motors are notorious for crank bearing failure. That being said I still love my Stihl 4 mix trimmer.
Both are comparable. Take a look at brians lawn care blower wars 3 I think it was.
@@bobbystewart2605 That was the 8010 he tested years ago, The 9010 is noticeably stronger. I have the 9010 the Redmax 8500 and a Stihl 800. The 9010 puts out a lot more air than the others but the 800 is a 4 mix so you don't smell like 2 stroke gas when you're done. The 800x is lighter, more comfortable, drinks less fuel and is powerful. Just not as powerful as the 9010.

How easy is it to sharpen the blades on the 72D? Also do you have any weight in the tires? Thank you very much for the video! 🤠
I attach the Loader with the 72D on to lift up to get underneath the mower. Then remove blades with air wrench. I take the blades to a professional to have them sharpened. And yes the tires are filled for weight. Thanks for the comment, appreciate.
