Bro I cried in the theater watching this. I was in a bad place mentally and spiritually at the time and this made me think of my dad. I was like "what would he think about how I'm living if he could see me now?" I've definitely improved since then. I think he'd be proud of me now.
i have a question! does wakanda government provide money for them? the king said we sent you to spy so he is working for them and he should get a mansion house not a apartment building and he is a ROYAL blood brother , did wakanda king remove his brothers royal status?
Wakanda, beyond Vibranium and the gifts that came with that, trades largely on information, and hiding things in front of people's faces. There's no reason for the War Dogs to stand out, whether they have been placed in New York, Japan, Montreal, London, Cairo, or any other place in the world. Live life as people live, gather information, and pass along gathered information along the way
I weep when I see this scene because it makes me wonder if all of us who are the descendants of those stolen and brought here if we too will forever be unable to find the ancestral well from which we sprung. This movie hit all the correct notes and messages
I've always loved the transition from older killmonger to young killmonger when his father talks to him. There's a tone a father takes that in a way snaps you back to attentiveness no matter the age . Not out of fear but respect
T'Challa's ancestral plane being in Wakanda with all his people and N'Jadaka's in his projects apartment by himself with his father shows how cut off he was from home. The shot of the sky through the windows is beautiful
We went from this great movie to trash piece of shit Wakanda Forever. They should have made Killmonger the next Panther, instead we got cheap skinny malnourished Black Panthress
This scene teaches that even if you were to visit the dead or them visiting you, there's no turning someone who has set his heart at something. You just simply have to believe.
I thought he was going to meet the ancestors and they were going to say unworthy he was of the position but instead I got a sad talk between father and son. I used to hate this scene when I first saw it because I thought they were making the villain too sympathetic compared to the hero. However overtime I’ve grown to appreciate it more after learning that was always the intention. But seriously it was hard to hate Kilmonger and it didn’t help that I loved Michael B Jordan because his performance as Creed!
See Disney! This is how you write a story! No social politics or feminism. Good writing and powerful back stories for not just your mc but you antagonist as well. Make it hard for us to choose whose right and whose wrong. As a grown man this scene brings tears to my eyes cause it’s relatable.
You say there’s no feminism when T’Challa’s whole security were women and his girlfriend was THE ONLY ONE doing what Killmonger/T’challa wanted to do the RIGHT way. Hell the women have been carrying this franchise thus far in the story No social politics? Killmonger is literally planning to commit a genocide to wipe out white people, like Hitler & the Jews. Last point: Vulture/Thanos both have solid reasonings to their actions. This movie is incredible but your wording to give it compliments is so ridiculous
“No tears for me?” God man, that broke me. That’s the look of a father that knew he failed not only his ancestors and heritage, but his only family, his son. That’s heart breaking, and now he has to watch from the above to see what his son becomes
What hits me so hard is when Erik's dad says "no tears for me?" And Erik's response lets him know that grew up in a world where death is commonplace and that also he has probably had to take a life himself and that it hits him so hard that he failed his son and left him to fend for himself. They both are lost, with unhealed wounds.
It's also incredible how hard he tries to suppress it. Like his path of vengeance was beset by the loss of his father, but he's had to harden himself so much that he can barely shed a tear when he's finally able to speak to his father again after all these years sad.
This scene hit so many different levels. After his father says no tears for me in a questioning form. After he transitions back from a child into an adult, the tears flow freely against his will.
What did I tell you about going into my things?
Killmonger didn't deserve to die. He could've redeemed himself, and he's my favorite character in the MCU and i want to see more of the character

It's sad that N'Jobu and N'Jadaka's ancestral plane is their old small apartment in Oakland.😢

This scene is why the film was nominated for Best Picture.
"No tears for me" 😥 dam
"No tears for me" 😥 dam
Oakland baby
I feel for N’Jobu. Seeing what his son had become without his father is rough
BLACK PANTHER MOVIE 2018 KILMONGER AND N JOBU RIP PANTHER FAMILY SON FATHERS
📖
This whole scene is so heartbreaking and shows how deep the damage went to both Eric (Killmonger) and his father N'Jobu.
Its 1 thing that T'Chaka killed his brother. But leaving the body behind and abandoning his nephew? Foul.
i love you Daddy🪐🍻🌬️🍯💵😘😘😘😘😭😭😭😭😭🌕🪐
He won’t be welcomed because he’s an Akata

Poor Erik😢
Angstrom Levy is Killmonger's dad. lol
Doomed to never walk in the forest of their ancestors. Lost...

I love this movie ❤

You have to want it to get to heaven
MBJ is the worst acter ever

Listening and Doing something about it are two different things, unfortunately

@@donniecastro49he was going to do that with everyone, not just white people
This scene was literally heartbreaking

This scene is so powerful, Killmonger was by far the best character in BP 1
Everytime i see this scene i get emotional
This is one of the BEST scenes in the MCU. period. 🙏🙌🔥🤤💯👊

Why Eric appears as a child?
He feels like a child being in his fathers presence again
My boy played the loong game!
Doesn’t the sand go in ur nose?
Everytime I hear killmonger, I imagine: "Awww shiii, here we go again"
The love killmonger has for his dad in this scene is incredible.
It's also incredible how hard he tries to suppress it. Like his path of vengeance was beset by the loss of his father, but he's had to harden himself so much that he can barely shed a tear when he's finally able to speak to his father again after all these years sad.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The actor who played N'Jobu did a great job!
If Randall never got adopted by that nice white family
