This channel is about the intersection between teaching & learning, and wind/water sports.
I've been teaching ocean sports for over 20 years-- I've taught kitesurfing and windsurfing (mostly), sailing, surfing, and even SUP. Along the way I have developed a keen interest in the process of how people learn, and the best ways of teaching them.
I'm still learning myself-- every time I go out on the water, and with every student I teach, and with every bit of information i research or book I read.

Kitesurf: Board Recovery strategies
Navigate back to that board quickly and get on with your riding...
Yes, we get it. Bodydragging is not the most glamourous part of kitesurfing!
But, after watching thousands of students going through the learning process, the conclusion is inevitable: The better you get at navigating through the water by bodydragging, the faster your progress will be with riding.
So pay those dues, invest the time to get those skills down folks. It will pay off later, many times over.

Just a reminder that when you are kitesurfing, you are responsible for keeping your downwind area as clear as possible at all times, especially when jumping.
