My channel is a mix of motorcycle rides, z125, Honda Grom rides, mtn bike trails, Anything 2 wheels is my theme. I love to be out riding giving how to vids, and helping others ride with knowledge. I enjoy making moto vlogs with my gopro hero10.

So when I come to a complete stop. Should I already be in first by the time I stop or can I shift down to first at the complete stop from like 3-4th gear?

I'm beginning to believe that 50-55 mph is the top end "all day" riding speed for this bike... ( OK by Me!)
Yes 55 is easy to maintain, once in a while it hits 57 or even 60 on a down slope. but 55 is pretty much the cruise around all day speed with no issues what so ever. it's okay by me too, it's just a fun bike to ride around, max out all it's power and not get in any trouble lol.

Yes, wasn't too bad actually, obviously a full size bike fits 2 people more comfortably, but it was perfect for around town kind of rides.

I know its top speed is around 65... if I'm gonna be riding it at around 55 most of the time do you think that would be much of a issue? Speed limit on most of the roads where I live is 55, and people speeding all the time around here so wanna make sure I can at least go the speed limit without wearing out the engine too soon
No it wont have any effect, these bikes are actually very good in the upper rpms for a long period of time. you will be just fine.

How do you like it so far? i just finally got a new schedule so I can start getting back into making videos again so I'm excited about that, my last job i was working too many days in a row and lost my way but I'm getting back into it starting this coming weekends

I used the stock rubber mounts the ones that came with the mirrors didn't fit right
I got the HK glow headlight for my Z and compared to your video. It seems to be a lot brighter, but I also get people flashing me all the time thinking I have my high beam on.
I have a question after first service oil change 600 miles next service at how many miles
I will be doing every 1000 miles, and that's pretty respectable they say you can go 3k but not as hot as these little air coolest engines get id definitely do every 1000 it's cheap enough and takes a wile usually to hit 1k miles on these bikes unless you're doing bike runs constantly which I don't. But next week I will be starting up new videos again

I got a z 125 pro and love it
Yes is the answer. Just bought a 2021 with a whopping 24 miles on it for a grand less than current out the door price. I’m just under 280 lbs with 39 years riding experience and due to nerve damage in my spine had to stop riding heavy bikes. Nothing but smile after smile as I ride. Added bar risers and I’ll probably change the seat and add a small rack. Then ride the hell out of it.
How do you find it for a heavier person

If you don’t mind slow and keeping off the main streets , why not .if you thinking about your main bike don’t waste your money.
Why did ya stay with stock pipe???
I stayed with stock pipe because I had the chimera intake and Kawasaki brad o2 delete so stock pipe I didn't need a tuner it ran perfect.
You mentioned letting girlfriend break in Grom which is 300 miles. Considering a Z125 found that break in is 1000 mies. First 500 is 2000 rpm max and next 500 is 4000 rpm max. How did you break yours in and thoughts of difference.
i let mine eat from day one, never had any issues
Never babied a bike after two hundred miles. Didn’t flail it to death right away but pretty much after 200 miles things have settled if you did that right. And I’ve been doing this for 39 years.
I really like the look with the fender Eliminator
I’ve owned 2 R3 and a Ninja 400, all picked up as crash damaged bikes and I fixed. The Ninja will eat the R3, it just has more pick up at any revs. I still have the one of the 2020 R3 but would not put it against a Ninja 400. Hope Yamaha do a R4 with the next update.
If Yamaha had an r4 I think it would be the perfect bike, the r3 is fun but could definitely use a little more power.
you wont stall taking turns in 3rd gear? i thought 14mph would be slow enough to stall in 3rd like at 6:06
No it won't stall you can hear and feel the engine while being in higher gears going slow, if it chugs I'll down shift quick but I have no issues taking slow turns in 3rd while I ride I'm always listening to the motor

I'm confused on why it seems loud
It's all stock no mods on the Grom.. idk why maybe the mic I use just makes it sound that way but to me it's super quiet

Looking to buy a 2022/2023 from here in Japan and they told me it's a one-year wait because of component shortages and covid problems.. Eeek. Maybe I can find one used but I'm sure it'll be higher than the MSRP. The scenery in your video reminds me of where I grew up in Florida, St Pete/Clearwater. Almost made me homesick!
I'm in Brandon Florida, so your home towns are 40 min from me. I love walking the St Pete Pier it's a nice scenery spot. And yeah COVID messed a lot up for the motorcycle industry and others unfortunately everyone is backed up

Couple things, not to be smart but you mentioned in another video that thee z wasn't in 2023. Just by chance crossed dealers advertising 2023 z125's. Second I know Grom is made in Thailand and not sure where z125 is made. Have a Honda cb300r made in Thailand and not quite same quality as Japanese. Do love the bike though just looking at adding a mini
I read a comment on a z125 post that z125s may not be made anymore which I highly doubt, they're too successful for Kawasaki to just quit making. Maybe a different look, or styl but definitely should still be produced for a few years to come, I could be wrong but I can't see them giving up on such a successful mini along side of Hondas Grom. As far as other countries, idk what exactly they have if it's any different but weather you pick the z125, or the Honda Grom, you won't be disappointed. They both have their strengths but for me the z125 feels more stiff as far as suspension, the Grom is more light weight in the forks kinda bouncy feeling. The z125 also feel more like a mini crotch rocket as where the 2022 and 2023 Grom is more cafe feel so it's just preference but to me the z125 looks more sporty.
