Cause on the outside looking in…If you’re just displaying greatness and “The people say it” you can have an out….But if the actual person displaying says it, you are igniting competition amongst others that will say “Well, I don’t think you’re better than me” Prime Example: I don’t recall Andre 3K ever saying he was the greatest in 30years. But look how his core audience speaks for him. T.I called himself the King of The South and he spent a good 3-4 albums having to prove it to not only his core audience but also to the other artists of the south who felt differently.

@@CampFromThePort​​⁠I have yet to have that happen at any opportunity I’ve been in. What has happened with actual opportunities that I’ve been in is that. I’ve walked in knowing exactly why I’m there, what the opportunity in tells, and that I’m there because I was asked to be there. I digress though because I’ve been in places where and will continue to be in places where the richest person in said room wasn’t wearing a ”suit” per se but was dressed for said occasion. As a matter of fact not here say or fiction the only time I’ve actually have been required to wear an actual full suit to be at an important event is when it was required by the event owner. And you want to know what’s even more interesting that same individual didn’t care for ties, suits, or even what they were wearing. Verbatim in convo. Facts and I have pictures to prove this the clothing that I own that I wear the absolute least of are suits I bought for “upper environmental” events “higher value” events. I see your point of view I can even agree to an extent but as I’ve learned through actual experience be you dress accordingly. Mindset over just “looking the part”.

It's a horse racing event in Middle Tennessee. It happens after the Kentucky Derby. Very nice event, lot of fly looks, good food and was happy to see more black people than I expected.
