Where did you get the foam insert for the sockets?

Any interest in doing a tutorial on making custom bins in Fusion? Thanks!

screw driver part is so freaking wasteful lol, considering you pay per square cubic inches when you buy a tool box, only for most of the space to be filled of plastic and not tools >.<

Basically just clicking all gridfinity videos that come up in my recommended since I'm getting a 3D printer soon with organization in mind. That plugin is going to be very helpful, thanks for that!

For me it looks like much wasted space with how you put in the screwdrivers.

I upgraded to Bambu and I'm glad I did. I was starting to get frustrated with the Ender and Bambu renewed my enthusiasm for 3d printing.

Awesome project! BTW, you don't need to print separate spacers... the Fusion plugin will allow you to print padding on all four sides of your baseplates 😉 I've been printing them for my Harbor Freight boxes and they are just a little short and the padding works perfectly!

question: when using the generator and adding a tab it only gives the option to do it along the width but i noticed you had the 1x3 tab along the length so you can put it in sideways, how did you do that?

Nice work. I would suggest to add some cutouts for fingers to more easily grab things out of the gridfinity holders. Otherwise one has to take out the entire module and tilt it to get items out.

did you print the clickfinity with PLA?

Great video! I happen to have (I think) the same label printer (Katasymbol E10) and you don't have to cut the label yourself. There's an integrated cutter on the side (where you load a new labelroll)!

If i may give you some points, 1 come quicker to the point, you drag things out sometimes than you made a video about organisation and than you drift of to a 3d Printer that took forever. make two video's on about the printer and one about your tool organisation and stop talking down on yourself, be confident. and when you make a mistake don't leave it as is but fix it, that is how you grow and learn. in the foam you can buy one of those small round sanders or small belt sander works too than you can flatten the bottoms or first make your contour cut slowly with the machine in and use a scalpel to do so so you can come closer to the machine than open that up a bit with your fingers , than cut to the dept you want it and than you take out the layers bit by bit.till you on the debt you need to be. Teach yourself to be precise from start with everything you do, and fix the mistakes you made. we all make them but we got better in hiding them. or fix them. wel keep the video's coming i am looking forward to see how you grow. check out crafted workshop he made something similar. don't take this as a negative because it is not meant like it.

use flat wood between hammer and dowel so you get them perfectly flat and not dent the wall. also use soft mallet :)

Looks nice, but sooo much unused space between the single screw drivers... I do like the gridfinity trays though.

I enjoy watching your videos. They come across very honest and still entertaining. Also, that bag holder is a piece of crap that you're for sure going to get tired of. I had one like it, but it broke early and kept falling apart in use 😂

A completely smooth and easy to turn spool will have troubles with unbalanced spools unwinding themselves. A little bit of friction keeps a tiny bit of tension so the filament stays well spooled too.

Great video. The Bambu is a great upgrade, and there’s now an aftermarket touch screen by BigTreeTech. I did the same in my toolbox just need to finish.

i like this! personally since this would be for me I wouldve tried to make efficient use of my screwdrivers and possibly print it all in once piece of design the grids to be half of a cutout

You should watch some of the ShadowFoam videos for cutting the foam inserts. Works much better with a scalpel.

Subbed. I like the comparison between click and non-click baseplates, when I started out there wasn't that option... I may have to refit some of my own drawers now! Also, if you print the click baseplates out of PETG, you'll get a lot more springy action and they won't work harden like normal PLA, helping to negate some of the downsides outside of print time.

I had no idea what the plug-in for fusion 360, and to be honest I’m still trying to wrap my head around fusion 360 as a new user. I’ve just been modifying existing Gridfinity bins in the Bambu lab slicer as best I can … lol

Well done, i think the different colors would bug me, but thats just my crazyness 👍
