Since this the 1st video in the "BEST OF GB:R" playlist. I'm only going to comment it on here. Let me know if you want any specific tracks uploaded. I do agree with your sentiments. For the most part, you are right. These games don't support a competitive community and often, I do think they're better off fully embracing the action RPG genre. After playing DBFZ, I've learned how most IP owners of these major anime's tend to think. They prefer throwing as little money possible at a game in order to pull out as much profit possible. Balancing the game takes a lot more work and effort than something like a DLC costume or additional side missions. In the case of DBFZ, the developers ArkSys have stated that they didn't get much legitimate support from Toei to add proper online features to their game like Rollback Netcode. They've also made it apparent that the amount of time they're allowed to support DBFZ is shorter than most fighting games due to contractual reasons. The same was apparent for the game GranBlue Versus. This is why I think Arena Fighters are like the anime version of Call Of Duty. Same game year after year, just a new coat of paint.
