OFFICIAL WEATHERFORD RADAR RAP
Просмотров 62 тыс.11 лет назад
The beginning of 2012 saw a number of minor incidents within the Weatherford Drilling Group in Australia. These lead to a serious injury to one of our fellow workers. As part of the improvement process after the incident, the crew at Rig 9 looked at new ways for the 8 GEMS to be promoted. This is their story...
Having type 1 diabetes insulin dependent but fit n strong person , do you think this medical condition would rule me out on the Riggs ??
These men are Elite 100% respect to them
Love the video, but the music was a little jarring. Very informative!

Shared rooms are the most cooked thing. Never except a job where 2 blokes share a bathroom or even rooms at times.
Cut the music 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
They might work 12 hours but they're paid for 24
If you don't have a Derrick hand are you really working on a drilling rig?
Holy spoiled. I deem thee softnecks. If you haven't been on a Derrick on the north slope, you don't know suck
Fk this makes me appreciate being a forklift tech.
Am currently working as drilliar in Nigeria I must confess I will like to work in Australia with a good team
One rig I did service was about 25 miles offshore. A 30 minute helicopter ride. 4 hours in a cargo boat when it was too foggy for a helicopter and too rough for a crew boat.
If working a land rig, you are mostly put up either on location in a trailer or hotel room at the nearest town. ...with one trailer as the mess hall.
Looks easy money compared to the triple rigs here in the states 🇺🇸👍👍👍😎
Them xk rigs is were it's at
"When do you get to eat a tbone at work?" As a texas oil worker id have to say every other day probably
I worked for Ensign for 4 months. You had one small room with two bunk beds in it. One bathroom for everyone to share. No food was provided. Driller and tool pusher didn’t care about safety as they smelt of whiskey every day. That being said I enjoyed the work. But the morale of that specific rig was horrible.
4-5天一口井,这种小马力钻机即使搬家快速,也会因为频率增加而增大出风险事故的概率。always be safe
Can you join with no experience?
If you're up to the challenge, sure. At least in Texas, a lot of these guys started this type of work around 18-20 years old, straight out of high school. It doesn't require a GED or college degree. But you can't be stupid either, you need to be able to learn fast and work hard, you will learn on the job. And it's dangerous, although losing body parts is quite rare nowadays thanks to new tech and safety standards... but there is always the possibility of things literally blowing up. It pays VERY well for a manual labor job, and you get pretty nice accommodations since you're working on site with long hours (companies usually cover the cost of travel, provide hotels or dorms, and food or catering services). The average roughneck can make around $40k a year, but in places like Texas they can make $60k, especially if you take an offshore job. Then they fly you out to the middle of the ocean on a helicopter and you get stuck on a metal island for 2 weeks - obviously it's not an appealing jobsite for many people, so companies offer big bonuses for those jobs. But most guys only start as roughnecks, and then work their way up the ladder. These companies will often help fund further education in the oil & gas industry if you promise to come back and work for them. Take welding, for example. Deep-sea welders are in high demand, and on top of their hourly wage they get paid for every minute spent under a certain depth in the water. I knew a guy that made $350k in one year doing that.
this dudes loock high af xd enjoyed the video. Keep the work up! greatins from switzerland
