it was a bit of a disappointment when the album came, that Chart #3 and Steve Reich were not together, as they are here. (not that titles were known at the time. )

I would prefer to have static with this composition that with World police and friendly fire because i don't like this one so much

They're not bad at all. I traded this guitar for an Ibanez, but for the year I had it I never felt the need to change pups. They're pretty well balanced and defined; definitely a very usable stock pickup. They guy I traded it to did end up putting Lace X-Bars in it, though.

+Jim Tobakos I was hoping to find a decent vid for getting a good idea of how these pickups sound, I'm thinking of getting the 9-string version of this which looks the same with same pickups(but wider of course), especially if it's still on sale for $800 like the 8-string. Either one would have 9-string pickups, but the 8-string one has EMG's and I don't want the EMG's lol, I think these would actually be better. Not that EMG's are bad, active pickups are just overrated in general, pretty much all the best pickups IMO especially for extended range are actually passive. One thing I'd like about going with a multi-scale 7-string though, besides it costing significantly less than the 8/9 string versions is that they use 8-string pickups so that opens up way more possibilities ATM for after market pickups. Also 27-inch scale for the lowest string is great, but for the 8/9-string I'd want the 25.5" - 28.625" scale for sure(unless I tuned the 8-string like a 7-string with a high A). And IDK, maybe I'd care less about 1 or 2 extra strings once I've had either of those for awhile. It's like, for the cost I could just get the 7-string one, and with the money saved get a set of Bare Knuckles(probably Juggernauts) and I'm sure I'd love it. It would really probably be a better idea to go with a Chapman ML-1 though for a nice 6-string with a tremelo, since for a 6-string I only have a beat up Epiphone Les Paul Special II. Then that 9-string will probably eventually have some more Bare Knuckle or Lundgren options I could put on it, then I could tune it like an 8-string with a high A which I think would be amazing, but hell I might even like the 9th low string enough to keep it that way.
