The detail of Opal being so calm/ personalityless because of pearl and amethyst being polar opposites and cancelling each other out is SO COOL. Opal really becomes their own gem that way. Also sugalite is Opals polar opposite. Sugalite can stay fused a LONG time since Amethyst brings motivation and Garnet focus. But the fusion is mega destructive and hard to not lose Garnet and Amethyst in. While with Opal you get Amethyst her motivation amd Pearls precision. Resulting in motivation to be precise which is incredibly mentally exhausting, but powerfull once managed. Also them bein water and fire. Making the fusion incredibly unstable unless you learn to balance. Idk im probably overthinking things bye
