Thank you Anna for your lovely comments❤️. Glad you enjoyed the relaxing paddle on Emerald Lake. It was quite relaxing and probably one of my top 5 lakes in the Rocky Mountains area. My only regret was the overcast weather, but it did add a serene atmosphere to the experience. The loop trail was a nice way to enjoy some seldom sunny spells and the eatery was a welcome break for lunch. I hope you and Alf have a great upcoming New Year celebration with friends and family. Bonjour Serge. C'était une belle pagaie en canoë et il fut dommage que le temps était couvert. On voulait aller faire une pagaie sur Moraine Lake mais hélas avec les nouvelles normes pour y accéder, ca faisait extremement cher. Donc Lac Émeraude était le plan B. Je dois reconnaître que ce n'ai pas donné non plus, mais moins cher néanmoins. Il y a hélas de plus en plus de monde à lac emeraude depuis que Moraine Lake a changé l'accès en voiture privée. La randonnée autour du lac, nous l'avions déjà fait en 2016, et c'est un petit sentier relativement facile a part quelques endroits assez boueux et défoncés mais avec de belles vues autour du lac et des montagnes. J'espère que Hélène et toi avons passe un bon Noel en famille et que vous allez bien célébrer et arroser la nouvelle année🎆✨ Bises a vous deux et bon weekend.😘🥰❤️

Yes indeed 👍. It is pretty scary to see a grizzly up close in the wild whilst hiking. I have and it is not a good feeling that's for sure.

Glad you enjoyed it Anna. They were magnificent creatures and although I couldn't attend the guided tour with a chest infection and bronchitis ( I didn't want to constantly cough and annoy everybody including the wolfdogs), so I stayed outside on the car. I did go around the sanctuary but not on the tour. The girls loved it and couldn't stop raving about it on our way back home. Merci Serge. Oui, en effet, ce sanctuaire était très intéressant avec les chiens-loups. Il est dommage que je n'ai pu assister a la visite guidee a cause de la grippe et bronchite qui me faisait tousser incessament, donc je suis rester dans l'auto mais j'ai fait le tour du sanctuaire vite fait et filmer un peu. Heureusement que ma fille etait la pour prendre le relai, et comme tu dis, elle s'est très bien débrouillé. D'ailleurs, c'est elle qui filmer avec le Go-Pro a partir du toit ouvrant de la voiture pendant son séjour quand il ne pleuvait pas😁. Je vois que vous avez travaillé très fort et que vous devez avoir hâte de vous reposer juste avant les fetes de Noel. Je pense que tu vas peut être avoir à embaucher des lutins supplémentaires l'an prochain si ca continue😉😛👏. Helene doit être ravie d'avoir bien vendu ces cartes. Bravo! La maison avance vite et avec un peu de chance, nous devons emménager à la mi-Février 🙏🤞. Grosses bises a tous les deux et à bientot sur Facetime❤️😘🥰.

It was a great find as we were on a road trip and had to alter our plans due to yours truly being sick with a chest infection and bronchitis, hence why I stayed in the carpark and let the girls enjoy the wolfdogs instead. Nous avons beaucoup aime. Les hoodoos etaient superbes et le musee etait vraiment tres educatif avec les recherches paleontologiques et les fouilles archeologiques qui sont mondialement reconnues. Nous avons passe un tres bon moment la bas, et comme tu dis, Les enfants se sont bien amuses 😆. Je vais visionne la video que tu m'a envoye aussi ❤️. Merci Serge. En effet, cette region des Badlands est vraiment tres interessante et le parc avec ces tours guides pour les fouilles de fossiles de dinosaures sont tres bien organisees. Il y a aussi des visites guidees ou on peut faire des fouilles avec des paleontologues. Celles ci sont plus difficiles a obtenir. En tout cas, le paysage est splendide et les formations geologiques sont tres intrigantes. Nous sommes alles a Drumheller et au musee Tyrrell que tu verras sur une des prochaine video. Beau musee en tout cas aussi. Dommage que tu n'as pas pu le faire la derniere fois ou tu etais dans la region. Je pense que Helene et toi devrais etre super busy avec les expositions artisannales des semaines a venir. Bonne chance et bon travail avous deux. Bises et bon weekend 😘❤️🥰
