Based at the renowned North West Lung Centre, Wythenshawe Hospital, the National Aspergillosis Centre is a national leader in developing expertise in the clinical management, diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients with all forms of aspergillosis.
Aspergillosis is a fungal infection caused by Aspergillus, a species of mould that is found all over the world. Aspergillus is common and can be found in many places including; soil, compost, dust, damp buildings, crops, building sites and air conditioning systems.
Most of these moulds are harmless. However, some types can cause various diseases ranging from allergic reactions to life-threatening infections, or both.

How is your mom? How did she get diagnosed,
She's doing good. They did the biopsy and she had to be on an antifungal for awhile. Its all gone though now 🙌 🙏
