Beautiful! Try adding a few mls of Blending Solution.. there’s something in it that lends itself to making alcohol inks that stick. The alcohol ink paintings I created were so pretty but after the alcohol evaporated the micas were easily brushed off.. adding a little bit of Blending Solution made the inks stay in place without any wiping off. Tim Holz (ranger) was talking about this in a video a while back saying the solution has a resin base of some sort that makes it perfect for homemade inks. Maybe try a small bottle to see what you think. Love your art! Great style btw.. you definitely have a style ❤

I don’t know how you add the white.. I put white in a little bit of resin to keep it from sinking to the bottom. Alcohol ink like blanco blanco or resin paste like Angel white (le rez) or Wave White (let’s resin) any of them I add a bit to some resin till it’s opaque and then drop it on or swirl it. The other thing is timing - waiting 15 to 20 minutes for it to thicken up a bit. I did a testing run of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 & 30 minutes.. the best results were at the 15 & 20 minute mark.. anything before 15 dropped straight down and anything after 20 didn’t drop at all. Get yourself a mirror for the underside of pieces so you don’t have to turn the lamp over. Works wonders

They are all beautiful, as each piece is unique as is the way of resin when it cures, no two pieces will be the same. So glad I found you, been looking for other resin artists and I just ran across one of your videos and have been going through them all since. Am about to get the items needed to make the DIY alcohol inks, because there are colors I need to make that aren't found in most sets. Love the crushed glass effect though, it is shinier than normal, but it also creates valleys in which the alcohol ink can delve down into and bloom too. Thank you for making this video! ❤💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍

Perhaps omit the black resin layer, and when finished paint the back with black, or navy or crimson whatever, as Elizabeth Roman suggested. As you were putting on the powders my mind was taking up the excess with tape so the powders would only be in the depression of the bubble and not on the surrounding borders.

How did you break the glass?

Maybe doing all in a thin layer will work better? The idea is amazing, now I want to try it too 😊
