Those guys would have annoyed me so much. Handled like pros guys. Also marmalade with eggs...you will two.
I kinda had the toast separately I didn't mix them! tbh the lobster hash sounded better than it was. The eggs were spot on though. Trying to decide if we should show my swollen back next episode the bits were vicious took weeks for it all to go.
We got to see birds and Sam got told off. Win win for me!
I spent ages trying to get those few seconds of the blue one. I think it was a Jay.
I do think the two of you need to walk round in bee keeper's outfits. Hope you didn't get bitten too much
I got bitten a lot. On the face too. Through the t shirts. We'd loaded up on spray and bit relief already after white mountains. I now own a full anti mosquito suit...
13:22 I understood that reference
13:15 the classic RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
11:23 Totally worth it to see peak frustation
I think this comment will make it into the next video
Did you climb behind thornton force?
Not this time. It's an awesome place. Have you done it before?
Are you the campsite we stayed at?
I've lived in America my whole life and never entertained going to the White Mountains. Scary place. I remember a lion jumping out of a tree in Greenwich CT and killing a lady. (On a trail) They looked for it for a long time but it got away. Always be aware of your surroundings. mountain lions are known for stalking people. You are brave ones.
It was beautiful I suspect the drive there was more dangerous than the walks we did. I think you should visit especially in fall with all the different colours in the trees it'd be even nicer.
Where did you get the thermal clothing to combat the cold temperatures in Tromsø?
We went to decathlon in York they have them all over the UK and Europe I think, really good value. It ended up being not as cold as it can be so we had more than we needed. I made a mistake of having gortex gloves which were not waterproof so make sure you've got waterproof gloves. You see our stuff getting soaked a bit more in the reindeer episode on our channel! The Northern lights tour we did had really heavy duty body suits we could have used if it was really cold included in the tour.
I think you should have carried on with the trail to see how many back gardens you can get through
I stupidly didn't film it but there was no more places to go. Amy was done and there was no carrying on after that.
What month did you travel to Tromso?
January this year. I'd love to go back!
What happened to the river cruise? You can’t tease us like this!
that's coming up in the next episode!
A more suitable name for this walk would be "The Treason Trail"
I think more American's walk it than Brits. Perhaps you could write to their president.
I stand by my quote on baseball from the last video, but it is nice to see a home run every once in a while
Bro I am a diehard Sox fan and have a game since I was like not even born. That’s how much of a Red Sox fan I am.
Did you may not try it but my family does
And it’s baseball what do u expect?
Welcome to baseball so
And it’s a foul
Haha I don't know what I expected. Saw a Boston home run from the observation deck the night after that was fun!
Liverpool FC was just in Philly at the Phillies v Yankees game a couple of weeks ago.
We went to Philly a few days later (still got editing to do) and one of our waiters had tickets to the soccer! I saw the pics of the Liverpool players at the baseball. I wonder if they enjoyed it more than we did. The Yankees are the bad guys in Boston was what we were told.
"I dont want to take it slow, i don't want to take it at all!" That cracked me up but i totally understand you - did this course last year and the hillside area really is not for beginners. Super steep, slippery, greenery - you look like you gave it a good go!
I'll be back for sure. Amy probably not so much on the hilly layout. I've got 20 bergs now. This course prepared me for the other serious ones we played in America! This summer we played Maple hill!
WATCH FOR THE TAIL
Beautiful fluking dive! Much better than in Norway when a storm meant we never even go on the boat.
24:30 Amy panic face
Do people actually enjoy this?
It was an exciting game (Phillies v Yankees) but not for the home team (Yankees demolished the Phillies 12-6 or something.) The stadium was sold out with both teams fans. It was also an important game (possible World Series match up.) I’m sure they had no clue what was going on though! 😂 Gotta get lucky when going to your first baseball game. Good teams, rabid fans & people around you that can teach you the basics. Either way, you tried something different!
@@lovesgucci1 we saw a homerun from the observation deck the next night. Typical. I think I should have had some beers!
I feel like they put a lot of effort into surrounding this with interesting things to keep the attention. The whole thing as an evening out is quite fun and quite relaxing but baseball itself as a sport was not for us.
I'm glad you went to see that so we don't have to
@@janstenpickle yeah saved you a massive journey. The spetical was good and the food stuff was fun. I didn't drink any beer because I didn't want to miss anything exciting during a bathroom break. That was a huge blunder.
@@stowgood yeah, sounds like a massive tactical error there
Go Tigers!
We enjoyed the national anthem selfie
@@janstenpickle I've made a conscious effort to show off my chins.
17:08 definitely watching. Glad you you had a great night at our League. Every hole we could see some sort of improvement on your shots. I hope you had a great time working with Gage at Maple Hill the day after this as well!
@@NocturnlShdow had such a good time thanks so much! I put the Gage video up too! Maple hill was awesome too.

Negative thing is that you talk low and don’t explain what you’re doing and look grumpy
haha fair. My voice is very monotone. We were a little grumpy as everything we'd planned to do was canceled due to the weather. We managed to make the most of it during the series though.
@@stowgood Oh, so 😢

Great shots during the disc golf! Well done Amy. Nice seeing the pocket produce great footage.

Glad to see you got up into the Whites It's a goddamn treasure up there
it was really nice, I'd love to go back in the fall. We hike artists bluff in the next video do you know it?

I've always said eating pizza is basically sports training. You've proved it.

We usually go in the fall not summer! Amazing how green it is now compared to then. Thank you for finding my sunglasses!
@@jamesromans3725 wish we'd seen all the fall colours. We had a wedding to go to 😉. We discussed how it would be nice to go back. It's quite far though!
your sunglasses haha
Nice to see Sam take the backpack FOR ONCE
He only carried it downhill though 😂
We got it the wrong way around I am better uphill and Amy is better downhill so we both carried it at our weakest moment. With the huge lens for no reason too, was too windy to have that bad boy on the tripod.

You should have seen our cities before they were destroyed and made unsafe by woke and liberal policies. Be careful in our USA. We're allowing our once great country to devolve into crap-hole status. Take care.
Be careful of what?
@stowgood the USA has become a dangerous place ...in places. You wouldn't catch me in a place like San Francisco or Chicago. Any large city really. Be careful and have a safe trip. Heads on swivels.
@@boringasitgets we avoided anywhere where you can't leave things in cars (basically the two cities you mentioned) and felt safe wherever we went. Thanks for your concern, we were made to feel welcome everywhere we went. We made it home safe so you can watch without having to worry we won't make it to the end :)
@@stowgood Good to hear. Our media is under-reporting the depths of the crime wave we are finding ourselves in here. When they stopped enforcing laws like shoplifting and assault...things started to go downhill here. First in our largest cities and now, unfortunately, even in the small rural area I live in. Because our massive crime wave is going pretty much unreported people from abroad can be caught off-guard. I watched this one video here. I found myself drawn to participating in your adventure exploring a new place. I'll check out your others here as well when I get a few minutes time. Where in the UK are you? I spent 3 years in a place called Lincoln. Actually it was the RAF base near Lincoln. RAF Scampton. My dad was an RAF exchange officer and flew the amazing Vulcan bomber while we were stationed there. My wife and I are talking about a trip there. I've been watching the folks that do the canal longboat thing. That looks like fun! We RV here in the USA. Drag our Polaris RZR around with us and see the sights! Hope you have a great 2024. Please forgive me if I came across like a dad. I can't help myself when I see awesome young folks like you trying to have an adventure in an unstable country.....such as mine here for instance.
@@boringasitgets We live in Yorkshire. I've been to Lincoln a few times. My grandfather flew the Lancaster.
My highlights: 6:33, 9:17, 13:30, 14:47
I think you hit most of the core points we were trying to make.
Need to go back to New York now to do the helicopter trip 🤦🏻♀️

A little tip from someone who grew up in the far north of Norway - if you ever get the chance to see the northern lights, and you only get to see it in small glimpses - don't spend the time on the camera. Enjoy the experience, and relive afterwards by pictures and films from professional photographers. This also applies to all experiences you only get to experience in small glimpses - there are enough pictures and films out there for you to relive the precious moment later.
The Northern lights we did see were not strong enough to be green to the naked eye so if I didn't have my camera we'd not have enjoyed them as much. I quickly share my picture with the accommodation staff and they messaged other guests who came out and saw them for themselves something they'd have almost certainly missed if it wasn't for us using my camera at that moment as the weather was so bad during this period. I enjoy using my camera for me it doesn't feel like work and I like looking back at my memories.
@@stowgood I see. I hope you get the chance to experience the Northern lights in all it's glory one day. It's amazing.
me too wish I was there tonight its supposedly really strong tonight@@ahkkariq7406
The reindeer are so lovely.Fire looks very inviting. I could see the lights too, that was pretty good.
They were so gentle! The fire was great I was able to dry out my gloves and microphone covers. I could have sat and watched it for hours. We were pleased to see any lights at all! Despite the weather the next day was even better a much more vivid display.
If you aren't headed to Norway or don't want to go to Norway you can go to Jasper Canada's The Dark Park to see the Aurora Borealis.
That would be another good place for sure!
OMG I'M FAMOUS
you've made it.
